Think about how much $$$ ya can make out of DanD at $25/ltr

Crash has one and he has fitted his, my bike when up it uses about a litre of fuel every 10 klms so I could be walking between 170 and 180klms on the weekend, so Crash, Boulder, Chicken could me my best friends also

I fitted the 30L tank to my bike this arvo as I have never used it before and thought maybe this was the ride to give it a test run, I have sworn before to never use it, as I was given it and wasnt really sure I wanted it, but it was sort of free

Here is some pictures of it fitted, problem I see is because the exhaust is a custom hand built Staintune system (for GHR when they built the bike) the header pipes are a lot bigger in diameter then say Micks 650 the headers are pretty close to the fuel tank and I am not sure about it, will have to wrap the header there at the bend

Some other pics of the tank on the bike

So I just fitted the 17 L for the ride

The rims have had their first trip out today – shake down ride before next weekend.

The bling rims have made my bike go better, made me a faster rider and they still look super cool when they are dirty.

I checked the spokes after I washed the filth off it this arvo and only a couple of spokes needed a nip up. Top work on the lacing there TB.:) Time to quit your day job and start lacing rims for a living.;)

TB I dont know if they are still running as true as what you had them yesterday – I kept loosing count of what spoke I was up to.

I also got better fuel economy as well as the other benefits you mentioned Dan :P

Cheers guys, surprised me Mick, the thread header doesnt have Wauchope in it and or the thread wasnt written by you and you ended up here

Had a good day, took a holiday day and spent it working on my bike, fitted new fork springs, bigger tank 17 L, 44 rear sprocket, oil and filter change, new front tyre, new front Mousse, retightened all my spokes, repacked my wheel brgs, oiled the cables, tried fitting the 30 litre tank (man that’s big!) took it back of, went to Sutto’s ordered different size front sprocket, got some bike shine and a new spark plug. Salina took me out for lunch and am just about to crack a 440ml bear in a can
;)

Probably rides a KTM 4 stroke e-start like all big blouses do

certainly an interesting little furry critter.

So whats it feel like Mr Blue for you to have big blouses riding away from you all the time:laugh:

Its not you riding away from him or anybody Dave, because you dont ride, sometimes you try but you bike wont go, and if you do you have to ride a DR200 or a TTR250 none of which are electric leg Kato four strokes

Give it up David

What are we doing about lunch, do we need to bring it along or are we going to get something along the way? No I have lunch stops planned but carry trail snacks should we stop for a flat or the likes

Do we bring 20L Gerry cans or will any size do? A 20 would be best Jeffro as we then have that little extra fuel should we need it without the girls having to fuel the jerry cans all the time, if you dont have a twenty let me know I can bring one for you
