I only ask because I dont know / hear of anybody that gets the flats you doon the trails or mainly the watagans? I can think of a couple of rides that you have gotten them and missed the rest of the ride

What pressure do you run? Or was it the tube that was patched at bull’s I am interested only because I haven’t had a flat for about 4 years (now will get 4 in the next year DOH!) I run those Michelin ultra heavy duty tubes as does crash, chicken and chris and there has been no flats between us and I have been running 10psi in my rear bridgestone in all conditions (my rear tube was purchased in 2004 to go the the cape)
Am just curious as you are a seasoned campaigner / old and been around (yeah like me) and was wondering mate

This is not a gee up
Be interested AB to see how they go, I only wonder how they can make them so cheap, if they are the same quality, but hey if they are a go I am on board, good on ya

A/ you would be a fool to think Dave would turn up
B/ Only a fool would believe his bike would start and he doesnt have a fit and throw it in a puddle
C/ And if by chance those two things happen, damn only a fool would get on a bike with someone that crashes as much as he does for the limited riding he does
D/ And if he makes the up ramp only a fool would be on the back because of reason “C”
Yup its a fool proof plan
PS and you’ed be foolish not to video it

So Chicken has there been some sort of refit for the old 600 mate?
Rumour has it that there is a new rear shock spring and shock rebuild, new cables, spare cables run next to the cable for just in case, tyres, new or new to the bike wheels
How about a new rear axle nut

ECKS we wont be coming to Wellington, thanks for the offer of staying at your place. I think we will end up at Bathurst, it will be a mighty effort around 450 to 500kms per day. This will also let us take a different route home for some of the trip.
If we have an overnight in Bathurst we will do a lap of Mt Panorama on our bikes which will be trick be sure to take some photos
Salina will be riding in the support vehicle with Kylie D and their route will be confirmed soon and allow them some time to go to the art and fart shops maybe
