As for the poofta beer, I didnt think a can of rum was the go as we still had a lot riding to go, but the beer was crap, will have a rum next time for sure

Quote:do you have to be registered for this ride?Smutty please click on the about us tab along the top mate, here is part of it
What are we all about?
Why: Because we couldn’t find any decent sites specifically targeted at older riders, or those just getting back into the sport, or for those experienced riders just looking for somewhere to communicate with other like minded riders. We encourage and endorse safe and legal riding practices whilst protecting and respecting the environment around us. We do not endorse the riding of unregistered bikes in state forests, or any such public area where rego is required.
Sorry mate, we are have a big weekend in September that you can ride an unregistered bike

Quote:At that stage I was considering ridng the XR as a sweep rider today and I did’t see any point in washing it last night. As it turns out I didn’t ride it today, but I washed it along with Connor’s bike this arvo after the races.
The XR is looking the goods, standing in the shed. BTW I am lucky it is recycling week here, as I even filled next door’s wheelie bin with empty bottles!!LOL all the empties, thanks Mick for another great weekend I rang and thanked Lisa
Will have you all down home for a weekend later in the year we can do the family thing and cash in on the browie points

The biggest surprise of the day wasnt Mick’s improved pace or how fast Ol Purple was, but the fact that when we got home, I washed my bike and Mick didnt wash his? I offered him the gear, the pressure washer was out

I like to ride tight singletrail and think I’d be better off with a small bore 4 stroker.Yeah and then theres the other more important reason, that is to get rid of that rear tyre
I would sell my bike as well rather then try another :laugh:Nah good luck with the 250 mate, real clean filters and skins mate

Great bike P-Dub

I would be a little weary of cars from auctions over the next few months with all the floods of late. Those cars from floods need to be sold somewhere. FEZ.
Well you would look at it before you bid wouldnt you Fez? If not I have some stuff to sell you
TB
If you wanted to go through the process mate you will buy a later model with a hell of a lot less kms any brand for that money at the auctions in Sydney or Newcastle at the moment mate is my only thought. There is a lot of cheap vehicles around at the minute. But the auctions are a hassle is all
As a mechanic just think its a lot of klms on the running gear for that money mate, sorry just my worthless two cents worth
Good luck champ mate sure it will be a good thing
TB
