Arr seems this is sensitive
I do Scott there are two reasons, one: he is fast ;) Two he is on a Yamaha :P Nah he is just fast full stop. There is always an exception to the rule that’s what makes the rule a rule. If we unhooked ourselves we know that the four day has been won before on a 250F and that was 2006 at KTM 250F actually, and one time I think an XR250 has won it also??

I never said it’s always the case, it’s for the most part 450fs and two strokes check ours and world results and times. Does this puzzles me because if we were to believe the hype a 250f would be the 4S of choice but no they aren’t fast enough for fast riders. Didn’t Price win most rounds if not all (don’t quote me on that) on a 500 last year? Surely a lighter fours stroke would be better, while lighter by 3 kilos it just isn’t fast, and if you are fit 3 kilos is nothing.
For us the average punter we can and do ride a 250 harder (not faster always but harder) maybe giving us more satisfaction but then everybody goes cams and pistons etc why we ask maybe the extra couple of kilos is worth it? That’s up to the individual I guess.

I hope he wins it outright, it’s also worth noting day 2 had lots and lots of sand, I would have put money on the bigger hp bikes, but he is fast B)

    Go you good thing!!

    No Not Hampton

Bob there is a way to say I wouldn’t stay at ……….. I reckon that would be great prevents others getting stuck there mate. It’s what the thread is for I think. Name them is a sensible manner

I wouldn’t stay at Yunta as mentioned by King Strucky, the publican is rude and unhelpful

I like this thread. The Royal at Capertee puts on a good feed and doesn’t complain when you park at the door. I don’t think they have accommodation though, pity.

We have stayed there a few times unless its changed recently

Edit: I just googled it and they do see here

So proud Jacko your all now grown up

Nah nice addition, when did you change your mind? Everytime I mentioned it you poo pooed it. It will be a good thing I reckon. If a 250 was really that much faster why do dudes win on 450s not 250s
