Hey TB, no luck at Sutto’s they only stock 2.5 rim locks could you please give the details for the O/S mob you were talking about. I hope they can help me. :dry:
thanks mate i just spoke to the Mechanic and he has tried to fit the 2.5 and its just touching the sides by 2 milliameters or so thus will not do what its supposed to do. I told him that sutto’s may have some in stock so i hope that they have larger one’s.
Tb just wondering if you have Riom locks fitted to your Tenere if so what size is the back one. The mrchanic is telling me he can not get a big enough rim lock for the rear ( i find that hard to believe)

TB , I noticed that you have the extra end weights on your barkbusters have they made a difference. I still have the original bars and when i put barkbusters on and removed large original bar weights i have noticed alot more vibration. Intersted to know if they make a difference.
great Photo’s. Im planning to do a Simpson crossing in August 2012 on a Tenere 660 my mate on a DR650. It will be unsupported so will have to carry our own fuel and water. Just wondering what your fuel usage was for the Tenere and how much water you used. We are thinking it will take 3 days. Do you think this is possible.
