Thanks for the great RR’s and pics,,All verry good. :) Realy enjoying the ride. The common theme that I’m hearing ,is that every one found a chalange to overcome, and were all exilerated and pretty pleased with them selves and totaly chuffed at the end of the day. :woohoo: Great stuff.

Yeh! I’m still buzzin from that ride today, conditions are great out there, but the best part is that some of the singles that I dscovered cut out a fair bit of fire trail in my regular loop,,,making it even more interesting, with a few more K’s throw’n in as well.. B)

Thanks to all the well wishers im home now, still a bit wasted ill post the whole story a bit later.
Special thanks to Mohamed for all his help and the lift down the mountain I think it took about 45mins
even though in a straight line we were only 3ks from my house.
I knew it was really bad as soon as I saw it, it was kinked in 2 separate places,
The doctors were using the term smashed, i broke both bones in two places with the pieces in between broken up into 10 smaller pieces ,it took 5 hours, they had to cut both sides to get in there to piece it back together with multiple plates and screws and bone grafts to fill up the gaps.
So disappointed, if it had happened at the end of the day I would have felt a bit better, but apparently it pissed down anyway.
It was my good arm too

Sounds like a nasty break yu got there,,I know how it feels to be the subject of a rescue mission,,,or two. Not trying to rub it in,but like LC says, there is some good rides coming up,,I feel for yu man.I’v been there.
    Heel up well mate.
    Cheers Teza.

Finally changed the oil. Some goose told me to take the side plate off to change the oil (to save taking the bash plate off) but didn’t tell me to NOT put it on the stand to do this bc if you do the oil flows out like a waterfall and ends up everywhere BUT in the oil tray!!!

Ended up yelling at 10 plus kids (our place is the go to house in the neighbourhood) to walk AROUND the huge puddle of oil, NO don’t touch it, no mummy can’t get that right now she’s a bit busy bc she has over filled the oil now and needs to drain some out…GRRRR.

I don’t know how you blokes manage to do anything to your bikes. I can’t even change the oil without a million interuptions.

I gues that most of us started on the spaners when we were kids,,,,and now we’r still playing with em. HA! Just takes a bit of practice and lots of tricks. Keep asking lots of questions.
    Cheers Teza
