Yeh! thanks for your thoughts felas. It’s always been a dangerous sport,but I have been lucky over the years and always thought that I was bullet proof,,,that is untill I got this RMX :laugh: :laugh: It’s a love ,hate relationship,but I do have a lot of fun on it.
Needless to say the wife recons it’s all over and the old smoker must go,,,,,but the fire still burns within, n I wont give up.
Somehow I need to convince her that with a new bike this can never hapen again but I don’t underestimate the task at hand., You will see me out there on the trails again,even if I have to bludge a bike of some one
Oh yeh! no amount of flowers will get my leg over at the moment :laugh: :laugh:

Gee’s Eags That dose sound like a cold run home alrite,slipery n dark, two words that shouldn’y be in the same sentance HA! well at least yu got to meet up with some other adv riders n get some riding n pub lunches in.
Good on yu mate,,and such a bummer about the councilation.
ALso Thanks for the well wishes mate,I will get out there again,my bigest hurdle is the wife rite now,but I wont give up.

Yeh! top effort guyes,this is a great site with some great blokes n blokets:P I first found the site looking for other riders to get out with,and the name stood out for me,as a site of lets say, more mature riders :laugh: then I noticed a the banter and taking the piss, and thought ,these blokes are alright. But the thing that I think is realy great about OBT is the spirit,,,Peaple are always only too wiling to help out a felow OBTer. Like I’v had an offer to help pick my bike up and get it home,and even a lift out to the B D ride by a bloke that I have never even met before,,,,How good is that:cheer:

Well here I am siting up in bed at campbelltown hostpital,got the sergery done last night,was in there for 4.5 hours,now I have a nice new couple of scews and a rod to hold me to gether:) When I came out of the aenesthetic and they were adminestering the pain releaf, they managed to leave a stoper on the IV line,,,meening NO morpheen for teza.:ohmy: The only way that I can discribe it is, like geting yu leg from the knee down stuffed into a meet grinder:angry: They kept telling me to just calm down and the pain would subside cose they had already given me more than enough morpheen,,too bad I wasn’t geting any. After a couple of minuts of me freaking out in pain,telling them that I was well experianced at pane and this was way too much, with sergical crew all dresed in there scrubs,like with wacky cartoon like hats n tops on just like on TV,all jumping around,some one twigged and the good stuff finaly flowed. It took a few more minutes to completly kick in,,that was hell.
I can tell yu,I was in far less pain n sufering laying in the bush along side the old RMX with a brocken leg.

Well thanks for all the well wishes, I’m feeling the love from the OBT crew.I had thought that I might be abel to get out to the Birthday bash cose I’d love to put more faces to names,But I wont be getting out of here untill Friday.
so thats it for now.

LC, the cops didn’t hastle me at all,infact one of them rang my wife the next day to see how I was. With rego,It’s all good.
