Well got out for a top little ride today,got my forks back from Tecnik’s fited them up along with a new kick start lever,and some break pads F and B. the old RMX feels good,the forks are a definate inprovement,,so I disided to go and explor some tracks that I had backed away from in the past,,so glad I did,got to link up a loop that I had always though was there,did a bit over 70 klm’s,50 of that was dirt,,I should say rocks,there’s not much dirt left in between em after all the rain we’v had,,,more like a trials ride most of the time :laugh: a good work out though.
Home now ,bike kleened up,,beer in hand,,life is good.

HA! yeh! same as that Scotty,,we ran into a guye down at Belanglo S F with a six gun on each hip and a sherifs badge on his vest,HA! none of us had the guts to get any pics of him though,He was straight out of a movie.

Yeh! that was pretty cool. I sure hope that I can go as long as that, :unsure: ,,,Had my 55th B Day last Friday 13th,,maybe unlucky for some, but not me. Went for a good ride on Saterday with some top blokes ,n had a blast, pushed myself a bit on the F T’s n stayed up in the front of the pack most of the time,the old smoker made a good account of it’s self out there,even with fork oil pissing out :laugh: Swaped bikes with a young bloke n got to blast through a good range of rocky, and flowing FT, and even a bit of fast single track, on his 450 Husky :cheer: That was a lot fun riding the thumper.
I realy loved it when I went to give his bike back, and said to him,,you must be glad to get off the RMX,,and he said no way, I’m having a ball,this thing is a missile,HA!HA!
Sorry I’m geting carried away here,,,,My point is,at 55 I’m trying realy hard to be a better rider,cose I love it,and realy cant see an end to it,,,Those old guyes are an inspiration to me.
