Yeh, thanks guys,just happy to have been able to ride it out of there. Just one of the down sides to riding the tracks on yu own. Any way thanks to the OBT crew for helping out,and look forward to geting in on a ride real soon.

Yeah! thanks Trailboss,The RMX only has 2000 km’s on it but most of that is off road so it has plenty of scrapes on it.I have to tell you though, while I like the old moto x feel of the thing, I’m ready for something with an electric leg and a bit more low down talk.

Well happy to say today was a good outcome,after a sleepless night and anxious day at work.All that needs to be done is go and colect my car from where i parked it to walk back in to my bike.
The bike was were i left it,so after rolling back down to level ground, disconecting the switch on the stand,it ran fine,so after clearing some lose rocks and branches of the track pulled on the helmet blew the bugs out of the smoker,and then when it ran smooth, took a run on the hill climb out.I knew that i probably only had one real go in me cose I’m not a yong bloke, so had to make it count,got off line in a couple of spots bounced off some rocks almost lost it once but made it up.I was stoked cos a RMX is not the best bike for rock climbing I can tell yu.
Any way thanks for yu help guys, i still have a bike to ride.

Yeh! thanks heaps guys,The more I think about it the more it makes sence,will let yu know tomoz how it went.It’s gona be a long day at work though,at lest the bike is down a pretty out of the way spot,single track, looks like no weels have been on it for a long time.

Yes thats right it dose have a switch on the stand,but it never did any thing,mabe a good bash on the rock fixed it. Thanks for that, now when I think of it I did have the stand down cos the bike was on such an angle I couldn’t balance. Thanks again,just hope that it ok when i get back there. Then there’s that hill? Fingers crosed.

Yeh! thanks for the sugestions, but it starts ezy, revs, sounds normal till yu kick it into gear,Then dies, but not like the clutch is grabing,the engin seems to run free as it’s dying and if you click it back into nutral it picks up again. Beats me.

Yeh! did all that stuff, it had run two hours in the last two days,going great,untill I droped it a cople of times on the hill.

Well it’s been quite a wile.Thought this would be a good place to get back in to it.
Due to that shoulder op I haven’t had any work for the duration up untill now,so I have just got that rego sorted on the RMX.So happy to have it out of the shed once again,took it for a rap out on some local tracks this avo. Felt great to be flying again after two long years, and the shoulder feels pretty good to.All in all the bike went well,still has plenty of sting in it,I went pretty well to I thought.Could have riden for much longer but was geting low on fuel and further from home so had to turn back.
Any way finely ready to get in on a few rides.

Well had another work out with the RMX yesterday, try’d all the stuff,same deal.This is what i’v got….engin not much wear,compresion AOK, mixture,within. “definately not floding”. From scratch, turn on fuel,leev it,come back,choke on,kick kick kick choke of kick kick kick choke on kick kick kick etc,have rest,check plug,,,dry, “always dry”, put a bit of fuel down it’s throte,kick kick vrooom, now it runs ok. I’m wondering, slide needel??? is on midle seting, could moving this help with start up?????

My banana RMX 2 smoker is a pig to cold start and no electric leg,just about dose me in.once I run it for few minuts it will start first kick all day, hot or cold but put it to bed, next day same deal.Now I pull the plug and stick some juce down it’s throte but thats a real drag and it still takes agood few kicks to go…Anyone got a clue on this?
