What about if you just put up where it’s visible to all, that you can only look into ride gatherings if you are a member of OBT.
    Just a thought.

Ecks-man,I for one think that it’s a good idea, after seeing the responce to Wolfi’s post the other day,it;s plan to see that OB’s do care about each other and don’t want to see any one of us going down in silence.
I can totaly relate to you plite with work,as i am in a similar position, but mine is due to a couple of off’s from riding, which put me out of action for far too long and out of my trade as a building contractor Gyprocker, consequently out of the money. So for the last three or fore years I’v been contracting as an instaler,of mostly blinds a shuters, but it’s never realy been a good payer at all, when we look at the returns. We mostly live on my wifes income.I get the same shit regarding geting a real job,,and I’v even tryed, but at 56 no one is realy interested at all, and experiance dosn’t count for shit when you can no longer do the job.
The up side is that I get more time to ride through the week,,but the down side is every time I need to spend some money on the bike or riding gear I feel like shit taking the wifes hard earned and spending it on the thing that caused all the strife in the first place :(
But without riding and OBT and reading ride reports life would be totaly unbearable I recon.
So realy I’m lucky and I know it,I have a great wife and I’m still riding, more than ever. I’l get somthing sorted with work. But I’m sure there are many blokes out there who keep their troubles to them selves and put up a brave face when we see them.
May be it’s eazyer to tap out your woe’s on a key bourd for many of us rather than talk,I know I for one I dont like to bring the conversation down. The great thing about getting out for a ride with the boy’s is that we seem to leave all out shit behinde and just enjoy the ride and each other’s company,,,taking the piss and having plentty of laughs,,and I wouln’t want it any other way.
Well good idea for the thred any way Ecks, and I sure hope that things pick up for yu mate, and good on yu for puting it out there.
    Cheers Teza.

Jees That sounds a bit sus TB:( Well I went for a good ride today about 70k’s,20 of that is tar the rest rocks, singles, bit of open trail.I gave the disk a fair work out,,,but I dont go as hard as most of you lot  But I did charge hard into a couple of corners on the way home, break felt positive, disc is still straight, the funny thing is I didn’t get any feed back on the leaver when it was bent, just noticed the caliper going in and out.Any way I keep an eye on it and if it dose bend back in the bush,I’l belt it back into shape with a big stick to get home
    Thanks for yu input.
    Cheers teza.

Well what a great mornings ride for the first of the year B) B) B) Thanks Budge for puting it out there.
The christmas cheer had taken it’s toll on fitness it seemed (not that I had any to begin with) But I was sweeting hard down in that creek vally, but I was haveing too much fun to be to bothered by it,I realy like that kinde of riding,Tree ferns and big twisty gums, not much water in the creek though. As always what go’s down, must go up again, :silly: :woohoo: we did some great rocky sandy climb outs,The Force bash plate was paying its way today, smacked it on rocks heaps of times,Thats good oll Menai,,, Rocks, dusty clay n a bit of sand here and there.
I was thankfull for the breaks we had after each chalange, regather ones composuer ready for the next one, preaty much untill there was no composuer left at all for me   ,After that last rocky vally track I was done,As they say “billy galooted” (rooted)  My arms felt like spaghetti, and I did notice that there were a couple of other red, sweety faces.
I think that we were all ready to head back. Fore hour’s n 40 k’s seemed to do it :woohoo: B) But I’m afraid a lot of the :woohoo: was floged out by now
Like Chris (husaburger) said “Might of only done 40 k’s,,,,but they were quality k’s   To true.
Well the 310 went well as always, untill the rear weel moved,,it seems the dick head who adjusted the chain yesterday forgot to retighten the axle nut :( Lucky I do all my own work on it :P But it was a quick fix and no damage done, just lucky that the rear weel pretty much locked up so i couldn’t ride on.
Well i met a couple of new ride budies to day, great to meet and ride with yuz,Marty 450 and Spartacus316 who it seems lives rite round the corner from me B) ,could be some avo rides in the future it seems, :)
Thanks to every one for a fun ride,,realy enjoyed it.And thanks to Chris for coming around to pick me up,,Too bad the trailer didn’t work out there buddy.
Budje,Thanks for the coldy mate ,it went down well.
Well that’s me untill next time.
    Cheers Teza.
