    Well today is the day.
Take the young bloke to footy (his first finals match :) ) then home and gear up and go for a run up to Glenbrook.
The spot will be on, probably leave home around 1.30

I have recently purchased a small husky chainsaw ,14″ I think, to put in a back pack and use if required on some Trail maintenance rides.
It hasn’t been used for that yet……
I looked at a 12″ battery one that was at the shop at the time but it only had 1 battery so I went with the petrol husky

I use one of the ballards pocket chainsaw ones but it hasn’t seen a whole lotta work.
It does cut ok but it still takes a while

    Hey TB
I have a spare OBT sticker if you want it, I’ll bring it to the nav ride if I don’t see you before it. ;)

    Hey Usi,
the royal maintenance man had it held on with 2 screws in the top 2 holes, they are hard to see in the pic but they are still there ;)

So as promised the headlight is now adjusted and its all but ready for my first nav ride.
I just need to do an oil change during the week, put the bash plate back on and we are set for a small weekend test ride

I even took it for a quick run around the block to check the headlight adjustment
and it goes better than I thought it would!!
When i got back I did spray half a bottle of brake clean on the rear brake, not sure if this is the usual reaction after riding one of these for the first time?

Will let you know on the weekend how it feels. Got to make sure that I am happy with the knee guards, pants, amour/neck brace/ jacket setup

Sorry mate, can’t make Wednesday. :(
Even the arvo’s are a bit tight with kids sport training etc. will see how I go. :S
If you are down this way either Monday night (this one or next) you could call in or I will be up there this weekend though I guess you are probably pre running.

Its not finished, I need to adjust the headlight
Will do so tonight and post pics of the finished beast.
Suspension is done and in, sag adjusted.
Everything is fitted now and working.
GPS mounted and wired in, I set the spot up and it appears to be working ok.
I was thinking of taking it up to glenbrook for a quick squirt in the national park on the weekend so I dont show up to wauchope without even riding it  , havent even been around the block yet
