I have thought about them before, they always seem to get good reviews and I haven’t really heard a bad word about them.

My concerns were much the same as everyone else, resale (being able to not the extra depreciation) and dealer support for parts / go fast bits

Will be home between 9 and 11.30, after that going down to the property to do a few jobs so its ready for the the anniversary weekend.

Today I got the call from Teknik’s to say the suspenders are done, come get ’em.
I was there in a flash and also called into Ballards for a few more bits to help finish it off.

I have used Tekniks before and had a good experience and it was no different this time.
They were friendly, professional and delivered a prompt service

Now just waiting for the damper……………. I have been told Wednesday / Thursday next week. :whistle:

Still deciding on a helmet and some new knee braces, braces will probably be asterisk

It is hard to work out why the people are the way they are in some towns.

They may not necessarily be into bikes and they may of even had some less than pleasant experiences in the past, but, we are not all the same, we are coming to your little town and are going to spend a bit of coin there.

There are any number of little towns in NSW alone that are struggling but then don’t want to welcome you :blink: :blink:

Hi Ecks,
I am currently using a set of Thor “Force” knee guards, they are about 5 years old and have served me well.
They are worth about $130 and from what I can tell are about the top end of the “guard” market before you get into the braces.

I would buy them again, however my next ones will be some Pod or asterisk braces

An update…….

It seems to be going backwards :laugh: :laugh:
Forks and shock out, in the car ready for Nick to weave his magic :whistle:

Swingarm and linkage bearings re greased and steering head bearings the same.
Ill pick the suspension back up on thursday / friday, hopefully have the damper soon after and we are back to putting it back together
