Hi TB,
Could you please out me on the list for this ride.
I don’t have a ride partner, this will be my first adv so if there is a learners group again I would be happy to go with them or also happy to hang at the back with strucky and co.
bring it on!!June 27, 2013 at 10:08 pm in reply to: Old Bull Trailriders is celebrating its 5th Birthday 5th, 6th and 7th of July #239376Can’t wait for the birthday weekend.
Camping gear all sorted, bike has new tyres, air filter cleaned, I will just throw a spanner over it this weekend and I am ready to rock
I have organized to take friday off so its all goooooood :woohoo: :woohoo:
need to get beer and food……. well mainly beer :laugh:Hi Wolfie,
Mine has some (can’t remeber the name) premium coolant in it and then there was an additive ice something that the flogged me at the dealer when I got the bike.I cant remember the exact names of either but I will look tonight and let you know. :pinch:
The additive is supposed to make it run 15 degrees cooler, so far I haven’t boiled it.
I had heard that the KTM’s were marginal in the cooling capacity so anything they recommended in this regard I took as insurance.
Looks like Tekniks’ to me.
My garage has been seriously considering helping make room for the new Tenere.

……. Please don’t let it be the first weekend in August, please , please please :S
Good luck with the recovery Snowy, you’ll bet better than new
Hi OG,
I carry the heavier gear for longer stops in my back pack (Tube, tyre levers, pump, chain breaker, shifter etc) and lighter stuff in the bum bag (small spanners, screwdriver, Tbar, cable ties, elec tape, lollies – incase the rider needs fixing), keeps the bum bag light – might help.
You could try a small bladder on the rear guard for fuel but your Husky should get 100 k out of the tank, which on most rides ( non adv) I would have thought would be enough.
If not make sure you ride with someone that has a DRZ or XRDo you know something about the birthday weekend that I don’t??
Good work giving up the smokes Razz, hope you get some good news at the docs.
