Hi OG,
I have a spot for you if you still need one, as long as you can put up with the odd bit of colourful language  we should be all good
I am looking forward to this weekend, can’t wait.
I am planning on having a 1/2 day on Friday and leaving penrith around 12. (hope the boss doesn’t read this)
I could pick your bike up earlier in the week if its easier for you and I will have it loaded and ready to go!Let me know and I can pm my number
wolfie wrote:sound like a ball had by all , these are great weekends, we have 1 at least once a month for the kids and there is anywere from 6 to 15 kids on bikes cutn loose even the bigger kids have fun aswell :woohoo: , bbq’s spit roasts, tone of food and many a memorys well done mateYeh we try for once a month as well wolfie but it doesn’t always work out
The boys always want to have their birthdays there and they bring some mates with them as well.
Nowhere local for them to ride without racing and they don’t seem to be interested in that so they love a weekend at the shed riding, shooting targets with the .22, catching yabbies in the dam, driving the volvo etc etc etc.And i get a weekend away too :woohoo:
Good luck Jeffro, hope it works out for you
No doubt you will still be on OBT and be able to get your fix while you are away+1 strucky,
I don’t pretend to know alot about running a site like this, but from what I do know its a hell of a lot of work.
So to think that Chris and TB do it with out looking to make anything out of it, just doing it for our pleasure and their love of riding is unreal. :woohoo: :woohoo:Thanks so much to all involved, OBT has become the first site I look at each morning and the last one of a night.
I love reading the ride reports, seeing other members pics and friendly banter, keeps me motivated when I cant go for a ride to get the next one organized asap
Thanks heaps guys, the site is awesome!!G’day Ecks-Man,
Not sure of the legalities of it but if you find a reasonable inspector you will be sweet for any future rego inspections.
I have for the last 2 years taken my XR250 and my DT200 to a local mechanic for their pink slips.
They have never even been off the ute, he has a quick look for an oil leak or whatever he is looking for and writes them up.
I dont start them, no lights, blinkers brake light check – nothing.
They both have had the original speedo’s removed and have push bike ones on, both have full working lights/blinker/brake lights etc but they are never checked. Full knobby “not for highway use” tyres as well.
I just explain to him that they are for bush use only and he is cool with that.
They are probably more stringent on a blue slip but after that you will be sweetHappy birthday STM, have a great day
WOW
The pictures tell the story, looks awesome guysHey oldgirl, tip for the camera, tie a chux around the handle bar or stuff it down behind the speedo and when you stop you have it there to wipe the camera lens
you can use for your goggles too
Looks like you had a great day, wish I could have been there
maybe next time :woohoo: :woohoo:Have a great night guys and an easy run home tomorrow. I have enjoyed the reports on the run, the pics and watching the spots.
can’t wait for the full report once the bikes are washed :whistle:I am + 1 on the boots wolfie zip use gaerne SG12’s and once I am strapped in to them I feel almost invincible
Sorry Wolfie,
Never heard of themEase up guys
:pinch:
I started spending more time here cause on other forums the seemed to be too many young punks taking a swipe at each other at every opportunity. OBT was a breathe of fresh air, mature, like minded, dirt bike riders organizing rides and enjoying a bit of fun and frivolity.Getting into each other is not the OBT way in my opinion.
Whether for or against live exports, we all do what we do to make a living and if we didn’t need the money we would just go riding
If the guys on the land are doing it tough, not only is it no good for our dirt bike riding, farm owning brothers, but its no good for any of us.
Exports are bringing cash into Oz which eventually benefits all of us.Us city slickers dont wanna run out of water either, we wouldn’t be able to have a shower and smell pretty for our well paying jobs that fund our dirt bike activities :woohoo:
Go easy huh??????????
So LETS GO RIDING and prey for some rain to keep the dust down :woohoo:Happy Birthday Snowy,
Have a great day!
Hi Aaron, yeh I watched the story on ACA last night as well.
