More a sweep rider Razzle, If I were to lead we would be late getting there
I unfortunately also couldn’t get a bike till I was old enough to buy it and get it around myself, so at 18 I got the old XL250, think it was a ’76 model, steel tank, real low to the ground, heavy as all hell.
What a weapon
Never really rode much till a mate joined oyster bay mcc and I progressed to a XR 200, then XR 250.
I raced (more like struggled to finish) with them for a while.
Once I bought a house the racing/struggling stopped and for around 15 years its was once or twice a year weekend away until I could afford to go more often. Now its – get outta my way I’m going trail riding / struggling :cheer: once or twice a month between taking the kids to our property for a ride.
Older kid is hot and cold, middle one is always keen but a bit of a struggler too
Little fella (4) just loves being doubled around all day, cant get him off the bike or quad!!ME
But prepping bikes for a 4 day weekend starting on Wednesday night :woohoo: :woohoo:
I love this thread!!!!!
Bought some tyres, grips, tie wire and bling.
removed the silver bullet graphics :whistle:Wow wolfie that’s a huge effort!
Twobanger if your going to try to use your legs more might be worth trying some stegz pegz :whistle:Happy Birthday Lefty, enjoy it mate
Chin up mate, like TB said keep working at it.
My goal is to be still riding single/ twin track at 65, after that adventure bikes for as long as I can.
I am diabetic, have to exercise daily to keep the dreaded sugar levels at bay
I am currently 40, I think the sugar is starting to get to the eyes as I am taking longer to focus on things now. When I come home feeling like shit or its stinking hot and I really dont wanna get on the treadmill, I just think of riding and weekends away with mates and its much easier to get started….
Join a gym or whatever you need to do, you will get there!
If your not riding what else is there to do???????????????Happy birthday PTW, hope you have a top day
