Maybe they left the diagram out on the later models to save weight
Thanks boze, but that’s the owners manuals I need the wiring diagram.
Contact clean both switches so I think the problem is further down the line.maybe a pinched or broken wire.Great ride thanks Gav,mick,Steve & mark.
Yep, seen 1 lookout seen them all. After all its the journey I enjoy not the destination!
How’s those guys form at the pub  funny as  thought may may be in a bit of trouble :pinch:  :laugh:Nice
Sunday,the 500 kato
Fitted new front &rear tyres, rear wheel bearings, rear brake pads, chain ,sprockets & greased the swingarm. Ready for the next ridetonight the big girl 690
Front &rear tyres,Front wheel bearings, front sprocket, rear brake pads, cleaned air filter & fitted the safari tank. :silly:Just a thought .use the same rear tyre on both bikes. Bridgstone ED78 Desert
The 500 got 1300ks with maybe another 200 k left in it
The 690 got 10 000ks including around 6500ks freeway riding to work  go figure :woohoo:Great day out thanks guys
Love to join in if that’s ok
The 500 won’t disappoint. Can put around easily ,low speed response is great .fit the 14tooth front sprocket as the 13 tooth that is standard is to slow for transport sections.will still lug up any hill you point it at. A good slip on exhaust also helps but not a necessity.
The 690 is not as nice down low, great adventure bike or even a commuter bike as I now use mine but for sheer fun can’t beat the 500. Did I say how I love mineWelcome stu. I,m sure I ridden a few times with you b4 😆
I have a Scotts on mine. fitted from new so can’t comment on how the bike was without it.
No problems so far. Not rubber mounted ,at least I don’t think so .Works great in the sandy tracks & blasting up the freeway for work
