Well truth be known, the first attempt I went over the bars.
Then I opened up the Kato & went thru the dune :woohoo: That’s why may mate was ready with the camera….Thought I’d go over bars againWell I turn up at 6.15 to find only Murh there? Gilli turned up next & no-one else
We waited to about 7.00 & thought we’ll this looks like itWe followed Gilli thru some good singles and where well & truly warmed up by the time we hit the top of Hitchcocks.
The back luck for this ride was with us though as I had a flat battery in the kato(new battery 2 months old) .Murhs steed was overflowing coolant(we suspect it may have been overfilled) & also a leaking oil seal  . We decided to go down Hitchcocks & see what happens with the steeds. All seemed well as long as I don’t stall so we turned around went straight up Hitchcocks without incedent. Then we headed down zig zag & back to Dunks via Watagan State Forest rd. Back to the cars about 10.am. With only 3 riders we covered plenty of tracks managed about 60km for this ride
It was a good ride thanks Murh & Gilli.
Hi Guys,
Interested in this ride however I’m going out & are not sure if I can be ready that early!
Can I say a maybe  for this ride. Don’t wait for me If i’m coming I am usually early.Well I had planned to give this ride a miss as it was starting at 7.30 sharp,I had nothing ready, had to be in Oakville by 5pm & was still ready otb meeting point at 10pm.As it turned out I woke at 4.30 am & the wife kicks me out of bed
So waking up the neighbours I load up, google the meeting point & head off.
Moto was the first to arrive,I have to admit he doesn’t look like his avitar!. Not long after everyone turns up & away we go.Lots of singles, open track etc.We were going along at a good pace ,I was behind Moto when he just let go of the bars  & starts to take his helmet off while we are still doing around 50kph  It must be a pommy thing me thinks….Next thing he is draging down the road in front of me still trying to remove his helmet.I swerved to avoid hitting him & pulled over to find moto holding what was left of a dragon fly .It was a great ride & I wish I had more time as I would have done the afternoon ride as well. Thanks for putting it on guys

Great ride with a good mixture of single & open trail.
I had a bit of an off (my fault ) well finally flipped the kato.
I was quite sore for a few daysinfact i’m still sore now.
Still a great day with no broken bones:P .
Thanks all who were there.
TryhardShane ,
heres my 2 cents worth.
Go to Bunnings & buy the IRWEN Easy out sockets. There are worth about $50 for a set of 6. They work like a spiral so the harder you try to lossen the bolt the tighter it grips.Worked wonders.. Good Luck.
Great weather + good trails & friendly company = a great days ride
Thanks again Kylie-D for organizing the ride.
Good day Moto,
I would have joined you on this ride but I have to give it a miss:(
Bikes gone in for a major service & won’t be ready for the weekend:angry:Will catch you on the next ride
