Impossible to diganose on the phone but they were going to fit me in over the xmass break
.But its a good 2 hours for me to get to Suttos so I ended up taking my old bike for a blast over the holidays instead.Just got back today, from the holidays not the ride
Have booked it in tomorrow for a plug in analysis at Newcastle KTM as they are only 1 hour away.Looking like a fuel pump $$$ .Will let you know what happensThanks guys
Screen is clean on fuel pump.
Battery turns over well
Ill give Suttos a ring tomorow.Fuel pump working fine.I think it may be a sensor someware.
I was playing in the dunes today when the big girl started to cough as though it was running out of fuel.So I high tailed it to the servo, plenty of fuel.
It wont idle or keep a steady rev. IT will hold 4000 rpm for a couple of seconds then die .If you back the throttle off & on a little it will surge before dieing again. I have checked spark plugs, fuel pump & air filter no luck. Has anyone had this before?
I am a bit lost with EFI as I only had her for a week.
:angry :AHHHH Amazon
I will have to give that another go
Cant let a little hill climb beat meHey TB
Can you put me down on th reserve list
Thanks TryhardHi TB
Well I haven’t bought or seen the bike yet, But if all goes well tommorow, I would like to join in on this ride.
Thats if you can stand for another ktm
Not sure about letting Losta have a ride as you never know where he may end up
Looks like Gavb converted Tryhard to the Adventure side on the recovery ride on the weekend, thought he was missing out on too much fun. Mick p
Well if you can take the Adventure bikes thru that sort of terrain then they must be fun :woohoo:
Just because it was a recovery ride dosen’t mean we can’t have some fun!!!
Hi Murph,
Thanks for a great ride.I’m still annoyed at myself for not getting up Amazon. Will have to try it again sometime soon. maybe when its not so hot.
Mate you know some wicked singles, tight & technical.
Definitly will have to do more rides with you.
Cheers
JoeHi Murph

If so pm me your address.Cheers
Joe (Tryhard)yep, installed it about 4000k ago
works well & helps keep the chain rattle down at idleWell what a day,
Woke up 5.30 saturday & after a change of plans loaded the bike was off to sunny corner. Arrived about 10.00 am geared up went to look for the guys, Found them about a hour later.Had a great run then we had lunch. After lunch we had a another great ride including singles & open trails, once the rain came down it was slippery like you woundn’t belive but so much fun.Had another run thru some singles in the rain again later that afternoon. Loaded up & left ,home by 10.00.
Thanks to everyone involed for organising this.
Tryhard (joe)
I had a 07 525 & my current 09 530 both fitted with ktm thermo fans.Expensive but well worth it.Even in summer 30c+ on single trail in the sand dunes of stockton beach no overheating.Well worth the investment.
Just a note, if you fill the radiators more than 15mm above the fins the expansion will overflow onto the exhaust & cause steam. This can be mistaken for a boiling bike.Just my 2 cents worth
JoeI have one in my 530.They work well, stops a lot of the idle rattle espeacily when hot.
