Lucked out on the search,some of those cafehusky posts are excellent,spent some time reading the tech stuff.That living with a 510 post is massive.good luck and let us know what you find,i might need to know myself one day.

i just bought a 08 510 and as the battery was stuffed put a new Shorai battery in it occasionally have to use the decomp lever to fire it regardless of charge as battery was new. It was a similar thing to how you describe hitting the switch a few times to get it to fire. This battery is rated at 220cca way higher than a stocker and occasionally still needs the de-comp to turn it.Could try kicking it around to TDC and then hit the button.The 511 is only a 477
i know lots of bikes have rounded figures and marketing likes the sound of certain numbers but that’s pushing things………….

Didn’t know the insurance co’s deducted rego and green slip,whats that got to do with market value? Must be in the fine print somewhere.
Mate from work donated his old purple rim TTR to the scum and was in his yard in an out of the way suburb where he must have been followed to get the position.

Thanx for the tips OB’s,and will definately do the meet at location,funny i don’t remember any of this when the trading post was actually on paper and there was no internet.

Neat work Mal,ive noticed with mine the most impacts it gets is upwards from bashing crossing/sliding over fallen trees.
My German is a bit rough but, hers goes “we went to october fest and we mixed up the parts from our te449 and bmw 800 and couldn’t work out how it went back together an ended up with this.”
Sounds mad though……………….
