Interesting reading and the thing about forums is you post for response, whether it agree’s or not with youre own.

The thing this thread has reminded me is i’ll just keep on swearing and sweating it out in the garage and do my own tires at home.

    cheers

I haven’t bought any bike parts o/s yet so my cash is split up between.

Looks like a yz guard in this pic,but the back looks chopped off. Don’t know any thing about XT660’s tbh but i have seen a clip of a front wheel lock up on the road at 100k and it put the op in hospital, i can see why you want to do this mod.

Having probs with this link, so have deleted it sorry, should be able too get a guard for around $30…..

Funny thread, all the flashbacks, looking back i had the whole AC/DC collection until who made who came out,
    Angels
    Radiators
    Led Zepplin
Deep Purple (highway star for driving my v8 falcon at the time)
    Floyd
    ZZ top

All on tapes so i could take them in my car,and carried in the red velvet lined vinyl tape box under the seat.

Never bought any Spy vs Spy as in Shanes post but went to watch them every other saturday night at the local RSL club good band back in the day.

Rage against the machine is cool Murph love there stuff………………..

 I here what your saying Eagle, i work in heavy industry and we are on the short list of large scale manufacturing in australia.

We get threatened/warned/told every other week we have to perform to keep our jobs or more importantly the business going to compete with imports and with a high aussie dollar it makes things worse.

If it’s any comfort i worked in another industry that was going bad for 10 years in the end before take over so i’m glad i didn’t spend that time stressing about it.

Great for moral seeing your work mates given half hour notice (not), reminds me we are just a number in the end, hope it works out Eagle must be hard not to rip in a few sickies just in case though.

    Hang in there.
