Axel made a hastey roll for camp!Yes awesome traction, you read all the lines in the mags then ride one and it does exactly that,be good to hit some whoops quick on it.

Sundays Ride
Est departure time 0800 passed by,i don’t know if it was last nights weather, the beers or a bit of both that caused this.
Axel did a bit more chain work after Clarky donated his front sprocket which is by now running TB’s chain, top effort fellas for keeping him on the trails. The famous sunny corner loam was slippery in the wet, Galey had a plan for some singles we hit yesterday that weren’t covered in fallen trees from the cyclone that must have gone through.
Tackled some fun climbs that where a bit skatey, requiring a few runs here and there and a bit a push but all good. Marty cruised up a nice greasy climb on a borrowed wr450 despite dodging some fallen debris making it look easy.
Had an interesting time on this hill and plenty of  Except for Gocman who ive crowned as the fittest rider cause he never gets a rest and just keeps on going.
After some slippery descents we arrived at slate hill,Galeys plan was go straight for a test or turn right for a rest and we split in two. We went up the day before which was interesting so the wet was a bit harder, plenty of sharp rocks for grip or deflection, bit of a lucky dip at times.
At the top we eventually met up plenty of steaming KTM’s parked up.While waiting it got dark, lightning, rain then eventually hail so we decided to head for camp and lunch and pull the pin.
I heard Paul say he was glad he wore his dririder and how warm it was ( famous last words as it turns out )
By now its bucketing down and freezing so had a bit of fun on the fire trails and came up on this bike length deep creek crossing, flowing nicely. Paul at this stage has an un wanted swim and looks pretty much fully underwater, but he still cracks a laugh,i reakon he was still pumped from slate hill.Had a bit of a dice with Marty, evan though i didnt know he was on my hammer, must be quite that bike or im deaf and it was all over back at camp.
Galey fired up the bbq and Paul turned into master chef and cooked up all the meat, snags, etc we had left Travis kindly supplied some beers and all was good
I don’t get out much on many weekend rides but it was good to meet some more old bulls and ride with the ones i know,(and have a beer with the ones not riding atm) thanx Galey for dragging the bbq out there and for you lead work, and thanx to the fellas that had the pop up shelters would have been a pain with out them.
cheers
