Mates got a 09 510 around 4,000k hasn’t been any trouble other than a blown headlight fuse,a brittle side cover (black ones) and a few fork seals. Easy to throw around singles, doesn’t feel heavy at all jumping off my 2T,seems easy to stall for me any way, possible reason a lot of blokes drop in recluse’s,or maybe just need to get used to riding it.
Had been doing some research into this rumoured new beast and from what i found so far its the old 360 slipped back into the current 300 frame. Cafe Husky has a thread on it and the 360 fans have spotted the chamber as being the same. Doesn’t matter either way its interesting if it hits the dealers here. And ironic that husky would have a re-invented 4T and a retro 2T.
Good write up TB,I like these yami’s too. I was down the camping shop a few months back and heard you ride out of the carpark sounds sweet, havn’t read your 1 st write up on the exhuast ill have to go back and check it out.
*Put a new master cylinder on my husky, had a nissan, then replaced it with a Brembo which was slightly different lengths. Didn’t have a longer hose handy the only hose lying around was from busted camel back. No probs – same diameter, but on bleeding found an air pocket which was now clearly visible, prior to the master cylinder. I removed the reservior while bleeding and got the air to rise back.
*dodgey backyard mechanic
Cheers Teza,
That was only the one corner, but they scraped the top off it later and it dried out a lot. Plenty of action on that corner though, the under 19’s had the toughest go at it first they where skating all over the place, trying to stay in the line.
We got roosted by Craig Anderson’s 450 in practice, the bloke beside us from canberra had huge mud chucks on his hat and sunny’s,he was loving it.Thanks for the heads up sb-250y its off my shopping list,at least your armpits are getting some protection
I like the hard chest plate of my ZAC armour.But………..have had plenty of cuts where ive sliced my shoulders on trees in between the gap of shoulder cover and the bicep cover that seems to slide all over the place doing sfa. I reakon the zac with the body suit addition would almost give you the best of both worlds being almost a pressure suit and a roost armour rolled into one. Only draw back is $$. Ive never tried a pressure suit so probably a tad biased there as well.
jimbo wrote:Hi There xy-transitthats not a problem but it might be a few weeks yet I have a few domestic job to do first to keep the cook happy. I think it involves a fare bit of painting and such, if I keep stalling the weather will be to cold for the paint to dry but not to go riding. I will put note on here when all is OK.
Welcome Jimbo,
Youve already passed on some valuable knowledge there mate.Might have to use that one, this year.cheers
Nice shot…………….
Great report Murph,
That’s a cool pic of Justo going up hill with his back wheel getting some air.And your smiley thingo’s seem busted. That sounds like a good prescription.
I agree i’m going to look into it,my elbow guards are almost r/s so good timing. Just gotta work out camelback issue, the zac armour comes with a conversion to eliminate the chest plate ill have to try it out.
You got that right TB all that space to yourself it’s awesome, but when i’m driving to work on weekends and see bikes on trailers i get
PPE worked well but have been thinking may have been better off with a pressure suit, style shoulder guard might have protected better, might have saved me using so much voltaren and panadol
