cheers
Like the pics, looks quick in the shots. How many entrants did they have ? It doesn’t look that packed in the photo’s. I read somewhere they had a rider limit, did they say if they reached it?
thanxNo worries SB and Mal,
Work has a habit of that, ill keep updating some more weekday rides and something will line up roster wise. Ill be looking to get out on Tuesday mar 29th as well.cheers
Good find white rocket,
Thats one bloke you never want to let ride your bike.LC4skin wrote:Do you still have the little metal clips that keep the pads straight in the calipers?I lost mine and now the top of the pads wear quicker than the bottom, hence the pads don’t last very long at all, probably not too good for the rotor either
Just purchased the set of the pad clips and come in at around $52.00 from memeory for the KTM Brembo set but you get both the slider and the holder. But watch out if the slider wears through like mine did or it will eat into the alloy real quick. Rendering your caliper r/s unless you can get access to someone with a tig welder, and who is keen to weld it.
Husky no longer stock these parts as they changed in 2006 so ended up at KTM when i realised they crossed over.cheers
How about next Friday the 18th Mal ???????????????? your write up sold me with the  bit
G,Day Bundy,
Just been through a similar issue on my husky.Although the other way around. The pads where touching on the inside and missing the outside.
What caused it was running the disk to far worn although you say yours is still measuring thick enough, does it make the pads sit un evan.Mine was making the pads run on an angle which in turn wore the alloy on the non piston side of the caliper, where the thinner fingers hold the pads. This has meant when putting new pads in they werent flat on the new disk until run in.
Ended up linishing a touch of the caliper to straighten things up but next fix is replacement. I think running a stuffed disk for too long started the wear. Hope its of some help.Cheers
Tough looking ride,it would be steeper than the pics ill bet.

Go the 2 smokes. They love there euro’s Berg/Ktm/Husky/GasGas in British Enduro, got some new 449’s in it and plenty more slo mo with mud flying etc.Must use some high quality cams to get this quality.
Yeah some good slo mo action, theres a few good clips of the brits out there, you tube british enduro and youll find a few.
I can do that friday as well, but i have done that typo myself a few times………..
I’ll second that 450 main was tops, already looking forward to the next round and i think the gloves are off between a few of the riders.plenty of this  no names for you downloading.
G,Day Mal,
My Hyde bash plate is trashed, and all the mounts bar one are trashed, so have used worm drive clamps.Have 2 on the front of the chamber and 1 at the rear of the frame.I just cut a slot the rear bolt holes and as i broke the bolt that is drilled through the original worm drive clamps i just went to bunnings plumbing section and got the large ones strait through the air holes.Im thinking take off the front clamps loosen the back ones a touch and hinge it down for service/cleaning.The only reason mine can’t do this is it laps through the water pump frame rail.
Only down side is……….lost a few rubber spacers and had some melting on the top edge.Probly could get a strip of heat bandage and sort this.
cheers
