G/Day Menace what’s a group 2 piston kit mean? as your just scotchbrighting the bore its doesnt seem to be oversize.
Good pics too mate, ill be stripping mine down shortly but don’t have an hour meter. What did your hours = in k’s?
cheers
Thanks again Mal for leading us around some top tracks.
Been a while off the husky so had to get out there early and get back into it,which was lucky as the old banger didnt want to start.
Was good to catch up with some old bulls Rod and SB and Bob who i hadn’t met before, nice wheelstands by the way mate.
Plenty slippery s/t under those pines which considering we did at the end of the day when a bit tired didn’t have any stacks. Could hear Bobs 450 pushing me hard through the pines. But the “viper” handled excellent in the slosh, climbs, singles can’t really fault it at this stage, and its got a tough snake on the side wall
Gotta give Mal a big thanks for clearing all the roos off the track for us,one run-in had him swerve left locked up then right to miss a pair would have looked good on a helmet cam.
A top day out and yep took some cleaning and had 10 mm of mud on my watch,so plenty of roost.
cheers.
Medogrocket just apply a bit of pressure to get the alignment done early grab ya bike and well head back and refuel and meet up.Could easily cut a lap or two here and there.
Bugger, and not easy to get oil at servo’s…………unless you want elcheapo stuff…………
G,Day Mal,sounds good, add me to the list mate, ill meet you and the other blokes in the morning.
cheers
Depressing thought that but i used to be into ford v8’s and did a resto on a xa coupe so probably get back into that and see if i still like lyin on the ground working on them with endless hours of sanding and resanding for paint and panel work.
Nah just talked myself out of it…….
he just run it in for you.
Nice purchase huskybloke, hard to see evan a stone chip or mark on the chassis, looks like new from the pics.
Whats your new name gunna be?
That starter motor looks massive, was reading about the ADB test 300, there mech advise kick it when cold to get the best life out of the e-start drive gears.
Thought there was some copyright issue with GG first e-start maybe this one will be better in the long run.Would like to be lazy and not kick my bike also.

Quote::laugh: Man, there was a rush for the gear, especially the riding jacket & pant sets, not to mention the $200 waterproof, Bluetooth GPS  I had to threaten one bloke to get out of my face while I tried on a set of the glovesWhat was he doing, did you have the last large pair and he was waiting for you to put it down? aldi shopping sounds dangerous……….
Mal and TB you beat me to it about the chest plates, i like the idea of the body suit to keep the elbow guards in place, i use alpine star seperate guards which have been tops but can move around a bit.
But all the pressure suits ive seen in the shops have small soft looking chest plates,so ill have check this one out.
BTW krusty ive got a zac / camel back armour and its been excellent, crashed on it heaps, but dont carry tools in it anymore as it was too heavy with the 3L of water.
Could pre’mixed bourbourn get any dearer?
Or have they realised the swap over to bying bottles and gone for the kill?
Give it a crack and just take some close up (macro) pics of any bits you might have to remember which way they go. Gotta love you tube for getting qualifications,i am you tube accreddited fork seal changer.
Ive seen Yami DVD’s on maintanence for sale too, they could help if it goes bad.
good luck 1st ones gotta be the hardest anyway, next will be easy.
Suzuki have leaked pics of the new DRZ1300,about to go head to head with the new Tennere.
