I saw a chinese team in the list on a pair of jincheng’s on jc450’s. I searched jc450 and came back with juicers! And couldn’t get any pics off their website.
But looks like the other 450 teams are going through plenty of engines.Top article/pics Mal,Murphs ride will be a good tester, you’d be well and truly settled into the new set up by now.Your gunna be hard to chase through the tight stuff now mate.
TB good write up, and looks sweet, what does it weigh? thats a bargain price.
Hi Katgirl.
I like your style in dealing with a mid life crisis.Looks fn painful Smithy and would have been hard to concentrate with, but how far in did that sucker go?
lucky it wasn’t any higher. Thanks for the advice fellas,
I think youve “nailed” every option there, bar chucking them out.I have some contact adhesive left over from seat recovering, but i didn’t know about alpinestars specific boot glue, ill either give that a crack or use mine.
There a bit old to take back and i would have chucked the receipt,if i get this year out of them that’ll be enough.I would have give these boots a big wrap until last week they just let go out of the blue, but there fairly cheap so i guess i can’t have it all.
Boony ive got a builder mate with all the ramset gear but hes moved to qld so thats ones out to mate
Yeah i read that one too,it looked steep in the side on pics.Good luck with it,then you can give me some advice when i get there one day.
Spewin Austblue ive got a cracked switch block too and not cheap, good vid the ridge looks steep as.That steps getting the wood on ya mate, only one thing to do is go back and do it over and over.
G,day Motoman76,
Welcome to obt, good blokes and rides what more do we need eh?.
Any how im keen as to ride down your way, funny how not many people on here are from the south.cheers
Bundyroy, ill have a look at the lead as well, thanks mate. I sealed up and moved the wiring right up under the tank, and ran it in the yard now its all dry it runs like a dream, refused to play up so its looking like water issue. Yeah probably same design as the 80’s,yep its been a fun bike, he loves it but he was spewing when it went back on the trailer without hardly riding it.
Thanx for the tip Mick,The plugs under the tank on the 80 but in line for the front wheel to kick up plenty of crud.Ill start it today being hot/dry and see if it runs non stop i might put it down to that.

i took it out of the shop it was in {they couldn’t be bothered ].got it home . now it only fires once when you jump on the kickstarter. had the shims, timing, stator tested ‘ carb cleaned.
even if you give it a spray of aerostart if only fires once .
if there are any gurus out there who have smoe kind of clue i would be greatful.
:blush:G,Day Bruce,
Maybe try another yami dealer, when my sons bike was originally busted they had trouble diagnosing the electrical fault’and only after swapping parts in the shop found it out. Which was lucky as i was just about to buy a part that wasn’t the culprit,so saved a few $ that way.
Good luck any way mate.Murph the surf wrote:
Working though as the coal mines shut down for the break so we (Eraring power station) are busy changing conveyor drive gearboxes and snub pulleys, yukIm hearing ya Murph shut down = time to run, just did 24 hrs of confined space watching couldnt get any more boring.
