Yeah i think they kept it straight forward this year in case it rained, hedging bets maybe.

Morgo how did you like the rock sections? we rode through them on the saturday and rocks the sizes of house bricks everywhere. But they cleared out on sunday.

Was good to see plenty of Girls riding, i think there was 8 in total.

And the bloke dressed as a clown how rode it on a postie bike was a legend, probably the most roosted rider of the day and well deserved the award he got at the end.

Top report mate you should write for a magazine, and nasty mods to your neck hope alls well.

That wide hill climb looks massive, ive gotta agree with your saying about talking yourself into some climbs or talking yourself out of them.

Had a bit of a look and 25mm seems to be the max for bar raisers.

To get close to what your after you’ll need to get a higher bend bar as well.

Can’t tell from the pic but if its a standard bar try the Jimmy Button Renthals, they are a tall bend. Have tried them with raisers and was a good height.

If you go to Renthals website they have all the bar specs / sizes and you should be able to work out the new height.

dont wory about the 900 bikes mate, the organzers don’t let them all go at once and plenty of times you ride with hardly any bikes as you can leave over a couple of hours, Its less hassle than you think…..unless it rains.

Dropped my sons bike into the local yami dealer and noticed the new plywood windows, apparently some scumbags rammed the windows out and made of with a few second hand Wr’s, which i think were customer bikes.

And this was very close to the police station, it amazes me what lengths the ……. are willing to go to,rip bikes off.

I wonder what they are using the bikes for?whether its $for drugs or if they are themselves riders?

Yep im going with a few work mates, heading up friday and going to ride for three days,drink beer and bludge around the fire.

Not really worried about the $ as i was lucky enough to win a $100 voucher last year, so might luck out again.

I am hoping its going to be like 2007 had a great weekend on that one.

Good bargain there,didn’t realize the stocker would be so heavy, 1 kg saving = more power.

Ive got those house downlight style globes in mine and have ridden on the road in the dark, looks like that one would be heaps better.
