Looks pretty tidy in the pics, you looking at setting it up for the tight stuff? A bloke at work had a ttr250 and considering how bad his road tires where it tractered up some Clarence greasy climbs with ease.
I picked up a flyer from the counter at western honda logged on and i think there was only a handfull of members. Was mainly TB and Mick i think, so i lurked for a while.
It was like an XR and DRZ forum back then from memory. There gunna make awesome Husky’s
Once they change the graphics
What an event full mothers day for my mum in law.
She was coming back from breakfast when a small truck lost control and t boned a 4wd ute they where following tearing the tray off and the first truck was heading down the wrong side of the road toward them at 80k,they swerved off the road hit a ditch did some dukes of hazard stuff and pulled up,great save from my father in law not to panick and not lock up into the truck.
They where pretty shook up,could have been bad for any of the people but all unscathed luckily, ute and truck trashed.
But also good news is the blokes dog would have normally been in the tray of the 4wd which was about 20 metres from the 4wd, but he was in the cab so lucky fella as well.
Great vids old girl i like how you go through the whole range of emotions in your clips    , singing to swearing its all there. I don’t say anything when i’m riding i think my helmet cam footage is boring now.
I thought i evan saw a boat  Keep up the riding your going good by the looks of your clips, didn’t see any stacks…..
Also good one Murph for taking everyone of different grades out for a run top effort.
cheers
G,Day Glenboy,
I used to have a this model Husky and went through some fowling probs so i changed the pre mix ratio and this cleared it up. Had some troubles with the float bowl sticking occasionally but that never fowled it just came out the over flow.Be perfect if you get your hands on a complete carb to try…….

When i got some decent boots the amount of ankle and foot support was a huge upgrade, when my old boots are standing up on the shelf they are leaning over at the ankles by themselves. And on my cheap fox boots your foot could curve over the pegs as well, with the ‘tech 7’s the soles feel straight, i think there is a steel plate in the sole?Thanx Lefty looks all comlplicated up there now
The Scotts had a different feature on them than any other damper you could vary where it would work from in the sweep.Be interested to see how that works.
I’ll write something or film something when i get a chance to try it. I have read a few times you won’t notice it’s there but when trying a bike without one it will be obvious.
Got a mate with the same bike so i will be able to do a good comparison. The only thing is his bike always has dodgy set ups around the bars. As in he’ll have a big stack and not straighten the bars back up if i ride it it feels wrong.
Another thing worth mentioning is they’ll do a a full service on them for $50,another good reason to buy local i think.
Cheers
Wolfie ASO sports braces, she’s had them for years, they wear to prevent injury as well. She plays state league and other rep netball so they get a full on work out and have been good.
Just a random supplier, your local physio should have them Wolfie.
After all the positive damper feedback went with the MSC Matrix undermount kit for the Husky.
Mounting the Post
Under mount kit includes a full set of new risers and bar clamps.
MSC quote a 25mm increase over standard,i got an increase of 15mm after removing the small risers that i had.
All done, and hardly sticks out at all, just have to do some mods to the bar pad.
Install was easy, and it feels good to buy an Aussie made product after speaking with MSC a few times on the phone they were great to deal with.
I might have made some of that reply up
I just like calling things bangers……..
old bangers
big bangers
2 bangers
4 bangers
g bangersThats worst case almost Wolfie !
Hope your doing ok with getting such crap news mate, but i guess you just gotta move on. Sometimes the docs say this is rooted or thats needs an op and you can get past this stuff.
Just coming from my daughters netball have you seen the ankle braces they use ? They will hold your ankle rock solid, lace up and velcro up over the laces, you will never roll your ankle in one.
Their not that expensive $70 each when its time for some dirtbiking should fit in your boot.
Cheers wolfie
p.s 661 make them for skate etc…
A new 3 banger……..
No first hand experience, only stuff I read on the net (it must be true)
they go ok with super moto, but hub spacing an issue, there have been some cracks in the rim weld from jumping.
The super moto bloke says he has raced a full season on his xr done 1500 miles with no issues. I guess you could say mixed reviews.
