I did my P plate test on one of these many moons ago (my dads bike). The bloke at Mt Druitt RTA said get it up to 50kph and perform an emergency stop. I just cracked up laughing and said at 110 kg it would get up to about 50 kph flat out going down hill over about a km. The car park was only about 50 metres long. Still got my Ps as he was still laughing with the other examiners as I left the RTA office.

Hey Mick does it have the dual range gearbox? If it does it will have a lever under the motor to give it a low range, might be worth a look.
