To the ride promotors, I am really thankful for your support, your recommendations are straight from a Dr Phil’s relationship counselling service. But like all great advice – accepted with thanks and more likely to be ignored than implemented!

I have just assessed the date and realised that it is my wife’s birthday. I dont have enough brownie points to pull a ride off on this day – I dont think I every will. Taking a day off work on your wife’s birthday and going on an Old Bull Ride – like sure!!! I have to admit that I was keen for a tour around Cathie Singles, but I am now a non starter. If the ride gets up, have a great one and keep me in mind for the next one. Unit.

A shame about the weekend, I had noticed the clash of dates with HVMCC. Unfortunately I will be away for the two weeks following so the boys and I will have to leave it to another time. We hope you enjoy your birthday bash. I will keep an eye on the site for another suitable ride and hopefully catch up with you soon.

Hey Mick – the boys did have a great day at Comboyne so they are really excited about the opportunity to ride at KTM Bull’s. They are looking forward to riding with the other kids. The only one that is pissed is Aidhan – off the bike in recovery mode and will be for some time to come particularly with mum saying more time off the bike is better!.

Separately – Moose what happened to Alex – broken foot and hand – thats got to be difficult, especially if crutches are required??? I hope is okay.

Happy Birthday Mick.. What a way to celebrate!!! Nice XR cake!

Had planned on being there on Friday for an introduction to riding Old Bull style. Unfortunately continued self employment got in the way of a good day out.

I had left Saturday alone being a dream ride. I had to acknowledge the 4 to 5 grading system, figuring the day best left to those who know better.

However all is not lost for a local lad and two of his junior helpers, the trail left by 30 Old Bull riders on Saturday is clearly seen and left for those to follow on Sunday, although at a slower pace, at least partially anyway. It kept us occupied for a couple of hours in Cowarra on Sunday.

Thank you to the trail leaders for introducing me to some new territory, an ancillary benefit of your great day. I anxiously await my opportunity to ride with you some time soon. In the meantime I will do my best to get some practice in (trying my best to keep up with my junior helpers) and hold open some of the single lines you left us to play on .

This was Aidhan and Tristan’s 14th birthday ride. When back in Port Macquarie they were let off at the Town Green for some “wharf jumping”, Declan and I cleaned the bikes. A quick swim in the pool followed, then showers and out for an early birthday dinner. Hey hey what a great way to spend a day with your kids.

Awesome day great fun had by all the junior units (cant keep the young bulls out :silly: ). special thanks goes out to mick and moose for showing us a great day in the cooler comboyne mountain country. it was just kellogs ( that is just right :laugh: )thanks for the pics mick.
