im angling to get the day off so as to have a nice easy days drive up to nundle, get in early and maybe go explore a bit in the STI ,hope its cold as the turbo LOVES the cold air !!!

yep siree, went to the bay on the w/end,
i had to stick the standard tank on as im yet to fit a new one, i seem to be getting better mileage out of my bike now ive lowered the geraing, so il stick with it until i come up with an idea on how to modify that broken IMS tank

no the tank isnt a prop to ride with, but i dropped mine a few times and it cracked on one recent ride (thank f@ck for a roll of need it) they form them to mimic the shrouds, if i had my time again i’d try to fit an extra few ltrs in the original by scavenging a f@cked one and get a plastic welder to add to the top side of the original tank, having searched high and low i cant see any other options, thats in part why i’d next go a ktm of even a bloody generic yammy, heaps of after mkt bit avail for both models, or even shoehorn my oh so lovely motor into a ktm frame if time permitted. (dreaming a bit here)

as i’ve smashed up the 11Ltr tank just recently, im back to the old piss fart 7.5ltr standard husky tank, am wondering how long the loops are at nundle as with hard riding i only get 70kms odd out of it. ??
p.s anyone o=know a good plastic welding plpace in sydney?

Apols for the no contact of late to these threads, been super super busy, below is the updated list, sorry lc4skin i cant change to the next weekend, bit tied up.
bloody G.F has organised another boring night with unknown zombie friends on the fri night (july 3rd) so ill be driving down early on the sat 4th morning, hopefully get there by 8 or 9am, need an hour to get ready so maybe a late kickoff–10am.
