Nice report TW as per usual.
We’ll have to catch up sometime soon for a ride.
Wow, those clips bring back some memories, haven’t ridden up that way for a while now.
There’s some sweet little trails in that forest !

I ride a KTM530 and just turfed my rear S12 after 1837 klms.
WOW !
What a trip, would love to join you blokes but no can do this year.
Have a good one !!!
That area in my mind reminds me of a minature version of the Cells. Rode through there last December and had a blast.

KatDidn’t it what ! We were out that way on the weekend and got caught in a hail storm about 3.00pm Sunday arvo, made for interesting riding ! :woohoo:
Got back to Stroud at about 4 ish when the band was playing. I spotted a Honda on a ute, must have been yours ?
November 24, 2011 at 12:41 pm in reply to: runs like train, turn it off and it will not fire again Husky 510 hot start, not #212214Temp. sensor…had a similar issue with my old 08 450, $30-$40 for a new one if memory serves me correctly.
Good luck !

I have previously owned 2 x Huskys, both 450’s, an 06 and an 08. They are racers no doubt. The harder you push the better they perform.
Wow ! If only $$$ wasn’t an issue.
Great looking beast mate, good luck with the sale !!!
Well, after 12 odd months these hand guards get my tick of approval…maybe I’m lucky, dunno… ???
Had a few offs but nothing too heavy until the other day were I crunched at a good 70 kays or so. I came down on my right hand side with the hand guard coping a good brunt of the impact (I think) Split and gouged the plastic cover and ripped the end of the handgaurds from the bars.
Back at home I popped the end back into bars and weaved a cable tie through the split plastic and sanded the gouging as best as possible. The steel supporrt was still relatively true and not at all overly deformed.
Apart from this latest off I’ve had plenty of “drops” and the Biketiques seem to take the punishment OK. I know there are alot of variables at hand but got to say I’m a happy camper.
Ohhh, and they are still shiny, just a bit scratched !

I forgot to mention that we all need to throw in some $$$ for our fuel drop. I reckon we’ll be needing about 4 litres each plus a few extra $$$ for my mate who is good enough to drive into the forest and deliver the fuel and drive back again the next day to pick up the containers.
