G’Day Tony and welcome. I’m only new myself to the OBT and attended my 1st OBT ride earlier this year, had a great day out.
I work at North Strathfield…hope to catch up sometime.

I will have my little girl with me but that’s cool cause she can do all the heavy lifting for dad.PTW
I appreciate your offer pete, but I managed to sort someone out for the fuel dump…your little girl can know let out a sigh of relief ! 😆

I will still be riding Saturday 7th May. Early start, expecting to cover best part of 200 klms. Headlights will need to be working. PM me if you wish to follow.
Regards, Nick.
Buy some maps…

huskybloke wrote:After much consideration of this ride the inititial thought of 2 big days of riding i thought would be a good idea but after doing the loops we wouldnt get back until 4 or 5 oclock on sunday which isnt real good for the blokes that have to travel . So ive changed the format of this ride to accomadate this problem so the ride is still on at Stroud but the plan is nowFriday: i will be there at 1 oclock so if anyone wants to get there for a couple of hours run on friday your quite welcome
Saturday:leave the showground 7 30 – 8 am and head over to o sullivans gap servo as the trip into buladelah from the edge of the bush is about 12 km of dirt roads and tar compared to popping out of the bush about 100m from osullivans gap servo which has fuel and a road house that does a good burger in the one spot , i assure you this will be a good day of riding( 140-150 km) and should be back at the showground between 4 and 5 in the arvo
Sunday: for those who want to i thought we could do another loop i have a stroud which would be a bout 80 to 90 km ( enough to do a tank full of juice)and would put us back around 1oclock in the afternoon which would give everyone time to get back home at a reasonable hour and not driving home late and fatigued.
cheers HuskyblokeSounds good to me mate ! :cheer:
I’d either cause injury to myself or others if I got involved in something like that
Pass !

From the thread i understand that the camping area is a short stagger from the hotel:unsure:Rebore
Yes Rebore, the pub and showground (where you’ll be camping) are only a stone throw away from each other !
Just booked myself into the pub for Friday and Saturday nights, forgot to ask how much. But from memory they charge around $40 per night.
I know it’s still a while off, but I’m looking forward to this ride.
Thinking of staying at the pub instead of camping ??? Not sure yet.
Took the tinny out onto Sydney Harbour and then back home for a BBQ. Drank way too much grog.
Great riding up that way. Wouldn’t mind to get back up there sometime soon. Thanks for the report.
