Quote:So is the new bike still new Wally or have you let it down.About 2 months ago sold both Huskies(06 & 08 450’s) and bought a new 2010 KTM 530…enjoying the extra ponies !!!
One of my favourite playgrounds. I know the area between Stroud and Bulahdelah and then Buladelah/Coolongolook/Markwell reasonably well. Know sweet FA to Nerong.
I’m keen.
Good day out. Covered 130 clicks in conditions that did not resemble anything like a December summer day. I preempted this and threw a thermal into the gear bag..Chicken and TB reckon I was soft but truth be had they were green with envy. It was great to finally get out and complete a OBT ride…will definatley be back for more.
PS…those boys really know how to get those XR’s up and rolling
OK I’m in !
See you blokes at Hampton Pub Saturday at 6.30am for a 7.00am start. Looking forward to it !!!
I may be interested, will need to confirm Friday evening. Could be my inaugral Old Bull ride.
Kelly…there is no compromise !!!

Possum brush is my old stomping ground .
I’m keen for rides around Stroud also.Wally Boy wrote:
Quote:can access the forest from either Kings Creek Road, Wrights lane or Kalawanda Rd ??? Thanks !!!I asked him last night, he said that the 2 “shortcuts” they had are both now locked so you would have to go in through hillville.
He didn’t mention names of the locked ones but 1 I assume he was talking about isn’t very close to krambach anyway.
No real fuss, buckets way is similar surface finish to the trails you’re going towards anyway .Mr Blue wrote:
Quote:These blokes are ok, all a bit long in the tooth though…..I’m not really.
Thanks for that…Looks like there’ll be a bit more transport required.
Will have to organise something next year.
Thanks again !!!
I’m Keen !!!
Just a bad time of year at present. Probably work something out in the new year.

Hwy and linking up with Possum Brush Road…need to access the forest from say Krambach or there abouts…anyone got suggestions ??? Got a feeling private property access maybe required ???
Regards, Nick.Could go round the long way and in from hillville. Looking on the map wrights lane maybe? Got some mates in Krambach I’ll ask next time.
Old bar is hardly worth the effort. Tinonee take away then meander back to Stroud I suggest. My brothers got a house at Old Bar otherwise I wouldn’t bother. If you’ve got mates that live at Krambach please ask them if you can access the forest from either Kings Creek Road, Wrights lane or Kalawanda Rd ??? Thanks !!!

Quote:Judging by your avatar you are riding a Husky?
you will need thick skin and a good sence of humour in order to put up with the banter.
Cheers
MickActually the avatar a bit outdated, recently upgraded to one of those red, white and black Huskys (2008 TE450) and trust me the skin is thick and things tend to run off me just like water from a ducks back.
