Jesus, if OldGirl is a beginner, then I have officially created a new level …
Pre-School
That looks like heaps of fun but what’s the go with all the wood stakes? Screw that… why don’t they just peg the tape to the ground?
Unless she has a super ballsy personality and doesnt mind getting her body knocked around, then sure get a blokes equivalent bike.
If she is a little more “girly” then a crf230 or xt250 would be best due to the low seat height, she will get confidence up quicker, (ive owned both). The crf is a much hardier bike suited to being dropped. The ttr230 will be way too tall for her without a lowering link for learning to ride on. I think your main issue is your budget.
Sounds like the second ride was an even bigger adventure! Good on you guys for staying out there in those conditions  Great piccys too!
*Mick I was actually pondering my sanity long before i’d even left! HAHA
Your a champ TB!
How are you going to get the bike out? Sounds like it could be an adventure upon itself
