some classic shots there like the one with the it
i like slow average speed it meens the track is good not nocking yellow mountain but it was good but than again i am slow to. think it comes down to what saught of riding you like i like single track. just a strange thing thats been going through my mind latly wonder how a fz1 would go with nobys they handle like a trailbike on the road but better
from my experiance the wr400 moter is reliable had one for six and a half years rode it to work for 18months or so and trail rode it most weekends with no problems changed the oil heaps but hated it on the highway. lasted longer than my xr400 that got the same treatment
its not only your moter you got to worry about what about your butt wr seats are not that comfortable or enduro bike seets in general
the wheel sets are sold bruce thanks anyway .am getting that genuin hub and will give the rims a tune up today .another easy way to check your chain tension is pull your shock out with bike on a stand two bolts find tightest spot in suspension travel for chain and go from there ala ktm rat.think i may be getting TB s opinion of ktm s
my back wheel has some majer dints in it buckled to so am thinking should get another wheel and not be so tight will ring around tomorrow
yes 5mm is looser the tighter the chain is the more gap there is .its up against the swingarm at the moment to loose(yes it is on a bike stand to)
can not seem to get any prices of non genuin hubs or a back wheel they all seem to just have wheel sets on the sites i can find 1500$ plus
i run it about 5mm of the swing arm underneith the swingarm the sticker said 8 to 10 mm its precently extra loose so i don t think this is the cause .irelevent at the moment its broken have to get another like my weekly rides can get a genuin hub brand new for 220$ privetly but am concerned it will do the same thing thinking of going aftermarket
have herd of this but always run the chain looser than recomended by ktm .it actualy needs tightening at the moment and just noticed the crack.
between where the bearing goes and the spokes go in all the way around
think you may be correct in the above post menace and if i had the cash would buy a ktm200 tomorrow and have two bikes think i may be dreaming there but.those erzberg and romainiacs video s are good to watch
so i will buy a 2stroke so i can ride single track than  or i will buy a 4stroke so i can ride tight single track than fire trail on the freeway and back into singletrack than some motocross .ps love two strokes just wanted to read less about bags and drz s  and get some bullshit going.reckon the new ktm 300 will be good with the 6speed box they need it
no cows to milk menace just fish to catch. :lol:i did say mx and sx
