    just check the basics first make sure it has an air filter and its freshly oiled check the oil level and radiater rear suspension sag 115mm have a look in the book and set the clickers at standered or sport settings .sorry i don t trust dealers think its worth a look have brought a new xr400 with not enough oil in it in 99 and an aprentice at work got a new klx650 with no air cleaner than dusted it and they tryed to get out of fixing it ? its worth checking

    all fixed kids are happy hardest part was getting the broken spring out that was hiding behind everything.clutch looks like a drum brake to me

    pity you did not get in crash was hoping to catch up for a beer and yarn what time did you enter i entered about 1.10-1.15 and was down the order on the list must have filled up quick.reckon you saved a dollar but a bit steep this year

    think they must charge by the kilo for that big mudsucker get an r1 cheaper i reckon they should have put of road tyres on a FZ1 be heaps lighter and faster

    found one broken spring will replace both tomorrow 16 dollars when they turn up

    went to the local bike shop had a look on the computer and a yarn reckon a spring jumped of the clutch or broke will have a look tomorrow ps nothing wrong with the oil grade etc

    that oil was in there prably 5years of abuse the bike shop said it would be okay because i had some they sold it to me for the wr400 i had at the time .just tryed some castrol gps same result think i will try the bike shop again see what they recomend again

    olli the six speed box is a big plus makes the bike more versatile can ride single track than the freeway home with out reving the crap out of your bike thats why i brought a ktm
