my advise is bludge a ride on as many other peoples bikes as you can and make your desishion from that .the most fun bike i have rode lately is a ktm200 but a lot of people may hate that bike its a personal choice .if you like single track get a light one .those new klx 450 s look sweet depends a lot on where you ride

pirrelli scorpion extra s the ones on special at suttos are good cheap last well only downfall a little scaty on dry hardpack good in winter (intermediate tyre) if your riding just mud spose get a soft terrain tyre ?

Not saying you’re wrong Smithy, but it’s like clutch issues for me, never have them, cause i regularly maintain them.
