hay mick when you try it give it a rev outside in the sun and tell me what you see ???
when its wet moto you just put the standard sidecover on (not one cut up by grinder) bit more hardcore out here ride in the rain the tracks are like rivers also use a raincoat filter skin from the hardparts catolog the ktm airboxs are not very waterproof.ps i thought you were an engineer -more air plus more fuel=more power
what if it rains moto and you got holes in your sidecover????worked on my bike runs sweet created more power everywhere
top report TB bet your itching for a ride after watching the 4day .(looked like heavon to me to)i would like to thank mal and donna for puting me up for a couple of nights and the food mmmmm very nice .not wrong about mal being calme and colected think TB looked more stressed .
whats wrong with postys bruce.have never had much trouble with linkages have just greased them every 12months in the past if there luky
yep saw the 98rmx to olli another classic
if you want to make it crack a bit harder get a vented airbox sidecover they help TB put me onto them cheap performance mod in the hardparts catalog just put the standard one on when its pissing down.
seen some classic bikes at the 4day racing there was 1 xr400 and afairly trashed drz400 that houred out and a 92 or 93 wr200 the same as axles that was going okay when i saw it on the pipe all the way and showing up some of the other bikes .most broken down bike i saw was the husky 4strokes with injection problems a couple of them at my control and wr with a blown fuse young mate houred out trying to figger it out poor bugger
the tracks i saw looked exelent eagle wanted to push someone of there bike and go for a ride .my bike got a flogging today and it deserved it for braking down when the 4day was on would have loved to sweep there was heaps of them and they were doing laps of the tests to lucky buggers.
does anyone no who one it can not seem to get it up on the a4de web site just get mylaps with no laps?

goto love this time of year
just use a normal spanner moto undo the nut as per normal the spring adjuster is just on a thread and will only go so far and the top of the fork will come of .and when you do it up again it will come loose again so you can adjust the spring preload when you tighten it back up
lucky its a fun money pit hay i agree with your misses but could not live without it
think i look at computers to much but on dbw(have also read it in magazines) they reckon there is a spring in the valving or something( not the fork springs) that stuffs up in the first 10 to 15 hours of the bikes life and the forks start playing up .best to talk to a suspension tuner this is just third hand information
