looks nice mal looks a lot more rideable than those gs1200 s
have read on dbw ? the klms you are saying is fairly normal for the wr450 s
how hard where you on the gas have hit resurve on a xr400 in 72kms used a full tank on my ktm530 in 2 hours but the conditions were perfect so much fun.can usually double those figgers on a normal ride but .i reckon the safari tanks look good one of my mates has one on his ktm525 that is good for us it slows him down a bit.

WTF is that about, bloody roadbike warriors imposing dyno tests and rolling acceleration tests… yeah I’ll just cruise around in third and then when someone pulls up besides me we’ll do a roll-on in third around the MX track… :angry:I don’t care which one wins, but at least make the parameters relative to the design criteria, they are MX bikes, the track test is where it’s at, not in a dyno room or how flashy it is to onlookers.
What’s next put a bunch of Navaras, hluxs, Colorados, tritons etc on eastern creek and rate them by how well they handle it?Just goes to show the ability to put pen to paper doesn’t ensure a brain behind it

bet you would not say all this if a yamaha one the shoot out excuses excuses
its not a two stroke anyway :side:
you can only hand spanners to the riders not use them fill there bikes up pump there tyres up and put oil in there bikes at oil changes and clean air filters not fit them but thats about it .but you can feed and water the riders
with all those riders think you may need some more helpers
the front ones last for ages have had one on for 5months and 3 weeks and its still okay have worn out a few back ones since than but .
maybe a set of glasses may help austblue  (sorry could not help myself)good boots help to
love them old yamahas had an old 465 same as the photo but a lot rougher but gave it away they get on the back wheel alot with the 17inch rim just need a crest of a hill or a bump to get up there acidently
i just used seel savers on my old wr (stuby holders i called them) did not have many troubles with my old 2000 wr400 forks they just were very hard on the body after a full day riding.have seen you can get full length seel savers now reckon they would make usd forks as reliable as normal ones with fork gaters.
just get a ktm and get rid of those crap yamaha forks usd are not that bad
whats the best brand of piston ollie got a vertex in the ktm at the moment was just going to use the same next time
