I knew you’d pop up and read that!!!
We have talked about this before. I didn’t get papers with mine either (no body has). I’d be surprised if the Husky dealers gave anything too?! I’d say that if you contacted KTM Aus you would be able to request warranty info in writing. I’d say they would have to. The problem you had was out of the ordinary. Your the only person I “know” who had a big issue with warranty at a KTM dealer. To play it safe we can agree that there are more happy KTM owners than unhappy wrt the warranty.i often think the warranty service has a lot to do with the dealer i am not the only one to have warranty problems with that particular dealer yet found another dealer of the same brand that would bend over backwords for you pity he does not sell ktm s anymore but

Quote:the pirrelli front griped well on the weekend in dry dusty sandy soil that is fairly slippery found it will hold its line in a rut well compared to the m12 mitchy that likes to climb out .don t no how it will go in the wet wish it would rain .plus it has hardly warn in over 500klmsfound the tyre gripped well in the mud in orange at mount conobalis and this tyre has done a lot of work and seen a lot of rocks (wish i had a speedo)but is still going strong think the mitchelin m12 grips a bit better in the dry hard pack but this one seems to be lasting better think it is a good allround tyre for tight arses like me there are better faster wearing dearer tyres out there but
is it as good to ride as the 200 we rode at Luee Moto now your getting used to it (give me a 200 anyday for the fun facter)
bump anyone else going should be a good ride
looks like a fairly mad track that one bet it was good to watch did Reedy smoke them by much
hay mal you looked after Medogrocket well i was happy if my service crew was at the service point at all bluged fuel one day missed one afternoon work period but ride a ktm so all was okay and only got to eat what he lefted me that i packed it was a bit streesfull but still finished.fittness is the key found the 4day got better as it went along think i got used to the 350mm ruts the bulldust and braking bumps .the main thing with the service crew is to just be there the rider can do every thing else
are they going to give out any information on how many special tests they are going to have and are they going to run different trail sections every day with out this information i would not bother entering after the 4day at orange with only 3 tests run twise daily and almost the same trails daily was fairly average if they do that again could be the end of it

Quote:Crewing for a 4 day is hard long work if you are doing it to really help, in 2006 our crew was up some mornings at 4.30am and still doing things at 7pm at night :huh:TB
my crew from when i done the 4day was up untill 4am some nights working with the “ladys of the night” think he had a great time . if your bikes preped well before you go should not have to work on it much reckon crewing would be easy but a touch boreing note bring heaps of air filters maybe even cook your tucker before you go freeze it and nuke it you don t feel like cooking after riding all day
sounds like a good excuse for a old bull pissup at mals hay boony
