Quote:Actually the first one was the warm up, but you never get the best stuff on video do ya!?I’ve had mine on two wheels with the chainy ready to bail out on a steep hill, I’ve belted the crap out of the underside (thank god for sump guards!), I’ve flogged it through some of those bulldozed “tracks” around Burraga… it hasn’t had as hard a life as a mine vehicle, but it has earnt its keep!
Which reminds me of a Hilux in Wambo open cut coal mine where I used to work. Only car I have ever been in where the jesus bar on the dash and the grab bar over the door had the bolts flogged out completely! The bloke I worked with was a shocker for not seeing things – like recently blasted ground – and saying “SHIT, HANG ON MATE!!”
i have seen ecks drag of a drz on a fire trail in his work ute at the harveys so he goes alright
have seen some bikeriders use contact lenses have you tryed them just a thought i don t ware glasses so can not comment on them(don t no how they would go in the dirt)
the times are up bollocks came 8th in the iron man me and ecks got 13th in c grade don t no if anyone else finished .reckon ecks is mister consistant his lap times only varyed by 18 seconds he done real well for his first race .also noticed on the siting lap cycletune loves to rev a bike it was just bouncing of the limiter.
it was a fun race but as ecks said there was little doubles and berms through the tight scrub they were okay if you doubled them but a bit tyrering loved the berms .there was heaps of sand and it chopped up and got some good lines going with a perfect moister content also a neet grass track section .the start was heaps fun all starting together was better than one every 30seconds i reckon.bit of a trafick jam in the tight scrub stalled it on a corner and lost 4places and the boys were up me to get of the track earlyer but old mate in front with a very wide bike was slowing me down just the same as them think some of them take it a bit sereus .it was a top ride thank goodness for the rain also got stuck in a rut thank god for electric start she was deep and a fallover
just looking at manaces dt project not all the photos are there is that a fault or my computer like pics(i like old dts had one once )
not wrong there tb had a bloke on a 86 cr250 jump over me at ballinda bike busters with a pair of gumb boots on i was on a 93kx250 he smoked me big time i still laugh about that
