went riding with a bloke on a wr450 on the weekend he had a kenda parker tyre on it had done less than 10hrs and it was shagged that bike was all over the place its linkage rear suspension was bouncing everywhere prably should have lent him a screwdriver

He must be a bit harsh on the throttle cause a mate of mine with an older YZ250 who is a real “throttle jockey” all speed no style rider, gets about 20 hours out of those things, carlsbad is his pick so far, cause it looks so aggressive… as it runs over his own back, but he does get a good run out of them, and he only knows two throttle positions, slide jammed against the spring, and none.

    BTW ta Ollie

i was only saying what he told me i asked him because i had never seen a kender parker tyre before and i used to use kender carlsbad and get a good run out of them .he was a fairly loose rider but (it was also his dads bike)

If one keeps going one is going to run bloody Kenda Parker DTs or even worse Millvilles, just to get a bit of life out of them.

sounds a bit light to me(street sighn) made one out of 6mm al plate for last bike and still cracked it but it was okay just welded it up .there are lots of different grades of aluminium and my b and b bashplate is 4mm and stronger than the one i made
