think i will get a two stroke next but for a change like two strokes not to save money the japs don t make rego two strokes anymore so can not see the parts being any cheaper just missing valves and cam chain .two strokes have gear boxs so you have two change the oil anyway
the 530 has only got 1 compression ring and revs hard bull and the 525s had two compression rings and don t rev anyware near as hard different moter and lasted longer.mine is not the only one getting tied at about 100 hours some of my freinds ktm 530s have had worse problems .lucky rocker bushes are cheap they had some slop in them.
you buy any chance mr blue are not a two stroke die hard.they had a 144cc (i think)two stroke ktm racing againstthe 250 4strokes at the motocross the other day must have changed the rules.most 125cc two strokes after 160 litres of fuel would need a new ring if rode proply there goes the oil argument unless you ride a larger two stroke they last heaps longer.right about the artical it is crap
entrys full already did any old bulls enter should be fun

or am i talking out of my muffler again?!?! i’ll have to go and look again!
either way i’ll be set straight;)
yer think you are right about the points behind the flywheel on the dt80 etc being two strokes they were there on my agg 100 sh*t box but my old xl350 had the points on the head being a 4stroke it was a oldy had the low slung pipe to

Quote:Well you would have loved the spot we left from. It was about 100 meters from the local gun range, just around the tree is the free range archery club that backs onto the old army depot. A couple of times i have ridden down my favourite trail and they had there flags out. You sh#t yourself when you see they have these large hay bales that they shoot at about 50 meters off the track.
done archery for school sport was not a very good shot landed one in the middle of the bowling green while they were playing a game at the local bowling clubb .funny thing is the oldys did not seem that worryed and gave the arrow back.
it would be a lot more less painfull way for the foxs to die than get poisened like they do in nsw menace and it is there sport to they may think the same about bike riders .i think we should share the bush and work together to keep our access
think the squirrels gone ferral may be time to set some traps and skin him
priced a wr450 in dubbo today 13200 on road makes your price 11500 look cheap
bit steep hay .yamaha moter would last longer to with its twin compression ring piston the ktm has only one
keep the squirrel hes good value gives us something to talk about

if they don’t have it on the shelf they can get it in.
either from part number on old one or just measure with callipers.
Sorry XY, I didn’t explain they are a narrow race bearing, the spacer between is alloy and crushes and needs replacing with the bearings (rat the KTM god told me that as well as well as reading about) so you need to purchase a kit
Look I didn’t want to get into a full debate just saying check everything out and enjoy you purchase
TB
you have confused me on the wheel bearings TB have replaced mine looked like the same set up as any other bike honda yamaha etc only thing i have noticed is the seels are wearing into the alloy spacers
thats normal is not it(the disadvatage of these modern 4strokes hard on tyres and chains and sprockets but the power is fun)
what irc model-type tyre is it TB may try one next you have been accurate with tyre choice in the past for me (if i can find one)thanks
