what i found boony was just run more air presser so the tyre feels as hard with your hand as a normal tyre think i was up around 20psi and had no problems have only used it for one day but at mount conobalas orange it griped okay but made my gearing tall.think it will ware fast its soft but will put it back on eventualy

An exhaust with a Japanese name but (supposedly) made in Italy?

I have from a reliable source that only the Wings and Akrapovic exhausts ever gave any real increase in power for the KTM’s. Admittedly the conversation was with regard to a later model bike.

$300 seems extremely cheap for a full system. They may look good on the outside but it is very unlikely to be a decent quality steel and the welds could protrude into the pipe causing turbulent flows and pressure drops etc. Pipe bends may not also be mandrel bent which will also restrict the flow of the exhaust.

I’m sure it will make your bike louder, I question whether it will go any better.

    Just my 2c :(

Yeah I am with moto, expect for the part that only Wings and Akrapovic exhausts increase power on a KTM, I am sure others well made well known brands would as well (unless the dealer that told you only sold Wings and Akrapovic exhausts and then its probably true :P )

You get what you pay for, thats my 3 cents worth

depends where you live which pipe is the most powerful in america fmf sponsers ktm so there pipes are faster there in austrlia akrapovic sponser ktm so akrapovic are more powerful here there all bloody loud but

I was running 14/52 and have just switched to running 14/50. I stalled a few times in the tight single track as I clutch it up in 2nd a lot. It’s much nicer for more open stuff though.

Despite everything I plan to go back to 14/52 as I preferred that gearing overall. I’ll just rev the bike harder when I want to go faster :P

after doing some riding around orange latly i agree 14/52 would be better in the hills but there is no hills at dubbo so will stick with 14/50 but i do seem to use 1st gear to much

hay moto fuel dump mick is already talking about the 4day at batemans bay ??.took me a day and a half to relise to take it easy in the trail times and get into it in the special tests.the last grass track moto was a heap of fun the other grass track test was ok.struggled with the other two tests with there 300mm deep ruts and bull dust but started to get the hang of it by the third day. they changed the main trail loop in the forest daily so it had a bit of variety it was mainly single trail through the pines and bush with rocky hill climbs but it was not as rocky as i expected with a few fire trails between tracks.on the third day there was a neet fire trail section that was a releif.it was a bit of a mision to make it through but i got there .just want to thank TB and his dad for letting me and fuel dump mick stay and mick for pitting for me and rider x for telling me about that endura stuff it helped heaps
