Quote:Anyone tried a Bridgestone M404 on the rear? I got one at a fair price so I am going to give it a run on the weekend.be interesting to see how it goes was thinking about going back to bridgstones was it easy to put on just put a michelin m12 on back it was nily as tight as a kenda to put on bridgstones used to be easy
pirrelis prably 100 to 130 each don t know what they are like never used them but 100 for front and back is realy cheap they would prably be ok there old pirreli phantom road tyres were good paid 70$ for the fortune
sounds like a good deal to me aarochild
got one of them(fortunes) for warchope ride think i better take another tyre with me should not be so tight should i and got a desent tyre
hay sirdropalot i would not put a carlsbad tyre on the front put one on my last bike wr400 gave it head shake made the front ride rougher than let tyre presser down lower to get it to handle and got dinted rims did not grip very well either .thought i would put up with it untill it wore out but it lasted realy well so just took it of and got another mitchelin.don t mind the kendas on the back if they are cheap grip okay last alright if not in rocks herd the buds creek ones are better than carlsbad but have not tryed one (buds creek)due to cheap supply drying up
use michelin m12 on front don t no what to recomend for back seem to use a different one every time bike destroys them
i will be there friday can t wait
had wr400 for 6years never had any thing in screen but does not hert to check .mate had a xr400 blew up twise before they found out the problem the screen was blocked it was done at a bike shop think they would have checked it.they worked out that the person that sold the bike put some aditive in the oil to stop it blowing smoke that cloged the screen
line it up with a xr250 and see how it goes
