hay lefty with that progressive spring keep an eye on the sag settings mine saged a fair bit over the first couple of rides rode smooth but did not turn they told me 120mm so set it at that .it steered like shit and got worse as it sacked out .have it at 110 sag now turns good is brllant in the sand best thing i ever done was get that spring and it has settled in and stopped sagging

i sort of disagree with the thing about 2strokes being harder on the body i feel heaps fresher after a ride on my ktm300 than i did my ktm530 or wr400 i remember when i got my first 4stroke trail bike xr400 and done a pony express on it was absalutely smashed after it compared to how i felt riding a cr125 on the same track not nocking the xr but had a lot of fun on that bike .two strokes sound faster so they must be better

Hey Alan I see the road riding doesnt bother you the other day down along the river last Tuesday evening. I said the the wife – thats weird someone riding a Kato 2 stroke…. ah thats Al….

i rode it to work for three weeks axel car was out of rego it was a lot more enjoyable than the corrola :sick: it just needs another gear on the highway still fun around town :woohoo:

the 300 two stroke would be a good bike if you like single track snoty stuff will not nock you up as much as a four stroke in that sort of riding good for old fat people like me but they suck on the road and are prably not as good on firetrails but heaps fun to ride go for the 300 i reckon unless you intend on doing some road riding .go for a test ride and make your own mind up some people hate 2 strokes its up to you if you like it or not
