Yeah the DRz looks much better with the yellow guard.

It’s nice to be able to do these rides in summer, tell you what it’s too hot for dirt riding, I did an explore ride on sunday at the Watagans with TW and a couple of others, too hot, too dry, dirt was like talc powder, sweating like a sweathog, passed out when I got home, still haven’t washed the bike.

I’m switching over to Motard mode this week!

TB; have a look if the head senses a magnet or just bolt heads.

There is a trick to the dipstick and it goes in easily.I think crash has had some dipstick grief and had to buy another after cross threading his.

With my bike, I put it in at an angle first with the end of the stick across to the right hand side of the oil tank, then straighten it up before screwing it in and all is good.

Sounds a lot like my FRIGGIN lawn mower!

Like TB said, I only use Yamalube the semi synthetic stuff never had a problem thats with 1000km oil changes on the 450 and 2000km changes on the 250.

Well if it can keep Yamahas going it must be good, especially at those intervals.

Are you just experimenting with oils Beemie or just keen to try the Yamalube?

I dunno, recently switched from Motul to Castrol and well no problems, just wondering if there’s a stand out oil thats the ducks guts or if I’m just paying too much for the same same thing?
Castrol starts off a lot cleaner looking, ends up the same colour though.

$43.62 for 10W-50, not sure if it’s mineral or semi synth.
    $68.85 for 15W-50 full synthetic.

    Both 4L containers.

For me, it’s the Colo Heights ride led by Dan, we met TB at lunch and everything went quite well.
As Kylie said, 450Km and some of it was tough, we had two flats (one on my bike) but it was a well planned ride and no injuries.

Nothing beats a good sun up to sun down ride.

I’m not keen to go to Dungog but the Pines would be nice to try out my freshly serviced suspension and new exhaust.
Sat is preferred for me, every mans dog is there on Sundays.

POWER BALANCE’S Mylar Holographic Disk (the same substance used to keep static electricity from damaging electrical components) has been imbedded with an electrical frequency that restores your body’s electrical balance, promoting a free exchange of positive and negative ions and align your body’s energy pathways.

The high density Disk acts much like a switch, resonating within your system and turning on your energy field while it clears the pathways so the electro-chemical exchange functions like the well-tuned generator it was designed to be.

When the static Power Balance Hologram comes in contact with your body’s energy field, it begins to resonate in accordance with each individual’s biological, creating a harmonic loop that optimizes your energy field and maintains maximum energy flow while clearing the pathways so the electro-chemical exchange functions like the well-tuned generator it was meant to be.

Now I am no scientist but it seems to me there are a number of contradictions and incomplete statements in there.

I hate to say it but I think this thing is just modern snake oil.
