He’s a tough big bugger too.Yep, said he’s been busy with work or some crap
I pointed out the DRZ needs a new front tyre when he said the front washes out a bit, most of the side knobs were missing :huh:I am rather happy with the ride as it was my first attempt at running a ride so it was good to have a small group and no need for the cornerman system or a sweep.
We just made sure all 4 of us were still ‘here’ at appropriate intersections and ‘Old Bull rest stops’.
The ride was pretty relaxed with several stops, including one where Diddle decided to lie down in the sand and wait for us, actually it looked like his front wheel washed out in the sand so we used that as a rest stop. The pace was pretty good in the tight ST.
During the stop Champo noticed a broken temp sensor on my radiator, it sends info to the EFI. No coolant loss so I just taped it back in, and the bike still ran OK with 1 or 2 odd backfires.
A stick had got between the rad, header and engine and scraping on the ground it had snapped the sensor when it broke away.We covered ST from the pines to Mt Warrawalong, by-passed the usual loop there for a more interesting route and proceeded towards the 2 day enduro loop around the Basin.
Thats where I decided to take the guys to the sacred carvings site for another rest before heading down into the Basin and then back along the main road towards the Pines via a few more diversions to keep it interesting. As Diddle said it was dusty and some more rain would be nice.
Diddle – I am glad I didn’t ride the full day – I stretched a muscle in my back when I was pulling the Beemer out of a rut. I would only have been a hindrence if I kept riding. I’ll be OK though.
Thanks for a good ride fella’s, it gave me confidence in running rides, I might organise a run to Millfield for lunch soon. Who’s keen?
They’ve got nipples :woohoo:

It wont look like bling after a few rides.
I dont think clear coat would last too long either, not in the bush anyway. That’s funny TB, wish I was there.
The pegs might not be a bad idea, she can take girl friends out for a spin and get them interested in the sport

Where?? and when are you leaving ??As I’ve written at the start of this thread, meet at the Pines picnic area, 9am ready to ride, so be half an hour earlier to unload and gear up.
Hope to see you there Holeshot.champo35 wrote:

OK Diddel, if it’s just the two of us we might have a look see if we can find the problem.
I will invite a couple of mates who are not members here yet but they always seem too busy for riding :ohmy:champo35 wrote:

If you change the spark plug, also check the high voltage wire has firm connections and good insulation and the small wire/s to the coil is nice and firmly connected.Justo wrote:
