The BMW mechanic said the 450 motor is like 1 cylinder of a F1 car, only designed to do 70hrs before a new piston, rod and crankshaft are needed.
Now I’m thinking of joining the 650 contingent!

Yesthis is true TB but in all fairnes they have been good for warranty claims so far and have also said the rest of the bike is still covered, just not the motor

Keep changing the oil and filter on schedule Eagle and I think it will do you proud mate

My Commodore has done 370,000 and Ive had it 10 years, only rarely I have to top up the oil between changes

Think of the money you are saving on petrol.

I know someone who has had 2 small quads stolen and a ride-on mower over a few years.
