“where you put “now that’s a curry”.
took me a while to see it.”
I missed it too.
The score;
Boony = 1
TB = 0I like the wheels.
Moto I think it would be just as easy to order an Akro pipe locally the postage would be high from OS and I dont know if there’s much between the GBP and the Euro ATM but I’m not buying one anyway.
The bike is cheap enough but sheesh they think BMW owners are made of money when it comes to bling and accessories, how about 40 Euros for 2 short blue radiator hoses!

It’s poetry in motion Champo, what other bikes can do all that?
I see on the speedbrain site they now have a G450X game, but it’s red

Quote:I’d be dubious of going to a place called Deadman’s gulch.LOL Nice pics, looks like a nice place for a cruisy ride and explore.I went to The Devils Gullet in TAS, that was amazing.
Wind rushing up through the gorge to the V shaped lookout at the top so all the wind is concentrated in the wedge shape of the lookout (very high too).
I swear if anyone jumped off there they would fly right back up and land behind where they jumped off.Nice ride Gco, it’s good for your health to get out more often
Firstly, you say you adjust the ‘clickers’ and ride again.
Its better to do one clicker at a time say rebound, when that seems good move on to the compression one.
If doing the forks treat the pair as one, same setting on both sides.Remember, a well setup bike usually needed work on the front as well as the rear to keep the whole bike well balanced.
After owning the 06 model DRZ I feel the they are setup for a rider up to 85Kg from factory.
Remember this is a trail bike sold as an enduro.
Riders over 85Kg should look into re working the whole setup, front and rear as I did with good result and an invoice for $725.The rear shock needs oil changes when the forks are done at around every 3000Km.
This will give noticable plushness back to the bike.
If it is a new bike or a recently purchased second hand one this is the first thing I would recomend, then start again with the factory clicker settings. The rear shock can also be extended by 10 mm quite easily which improves the steering and ground clearance.
The DRZ wears one of the shock bushes, the bottom one so check them both for play.
Finally, if the shock is removed, check all the linkage bearings, swing arm bearings and the wheel bearings. There should be no noticable freeplay in any.
Heres what you do Kylie.
Wait till Dan’s asleep or in the shed and swap his credit card with yours, order whatever you want and then put it back.
Then when Christmas comes along there will be a few extra surprises for you :cheer: and DanKylieD wrote:

I have told DanD that one day I will have a beemer. They look so cool.
There are lots of bling options for them too KD but you need an inexhaustable money supply for that.
Tell Dan he can have a go too.
Cheers.Heh heh, what about ‘the SMB machine’ – Super Motard Bling machine.

Quote:Glad you’ve made the bike your own now Beemer, I’m with Robo on the 952’s can’t believe they have the dunlop name on them, so either your bike loves that compound or the other tyre was a complete nightmare, for the front I highly recommned S-12/M-12 comps or Dunlop 742F.
The light front end, have you dropped the triple clamps a bit to help that?, never know may help, does on a lot of bikes.BC
Yes I dropped the clamps 10mm and it helped.
I will try one of those tyres too, whats the wear like with them?Trailboss wrote:
Quote:Nice report WB, interesting about the ride offers, if your came to have a go on the full house fiddy I would welcome a ride on the Bemmer.TB
I think we can do that on the next ride
There is good stuff comming out of China, it depends on how stringent the company quality control and product specs are.
I bought one of the Post ones last week and it seems OK compared to my Mule Camelbak.
Hopefull it can fit my 3ltr bladder and a little extra fuel for the longer rides. Will report again after some usage….
How did it go?
Happy bike, happy rider?I do recommend the StainTune header pipe, it will polish up nicely and looks heaps better and gives more grunt, especially to the bottom end and also helps the tone sound better.
Also with the standard size front brake rotor she might need a braided brake line, they’re available in bling colours.
I mean the options are endless, those Travis Pastrani bars, what colour are they? If you buy something like that a trip to an electroplater before it put on the bike can give it those shiny trick blue , red, gold or green colours.
One of my favourites is black chrome but there is almost no-one in Aus doing that, it must be difficult or something. Also the tyres on those beautifull wheels look like they have Armorall or something on them, be carefull on the first ride with them please.
You might want to wipe them off with acetone or give ’em a good wash first.EAGLE`02 wrote:

I understand the fingers get sore after a while pressing the winch buttons for trimming, would this boat need the crew to trim the sails or has that been automated with modern tech? -
